Our models' parents?  In continuing our week of gratitude, we have to say that we have been so lucky to have met and worked with so many amazing models and their parents.  We have definitely had some parents that we would like to forget working with, but for the most part our models' parents are every bit as amazing as they are.  We have made some great friends over the years with so many of them, and we consider ourselves lucky to have the pleasure to work with such amazing people.  These moms and dads trust us with their child's career, and they hop on planes and go all over the world helping their son or daughter follow their dreams.  It's pretty amazing to see.

Beautiful Birthday Girls!

Two of our models have celebrated birthdays recently, and we can't let anymore time pass by without wishing them a very happy birthday!

We discovered Carson Bruner in her native California, and she has been all over the world since we launched her career.  Carson was a finalist in the Elite Model Look competition, and she has since worked for companies like Chanel, Marc Jacobs, and Christian Dior to name a few.  Happy birthday Carson, we can't wait to see where this next year takes you!

Charlee Pilon celebrated her birthday last week, and we can't say enough good things about this girl.  We waited for her to finish high school before truly starting her in the industry, and she was worth the wait! Charlee has spent many of her months since graduating in New York and she is taking the fashion world by storm, click here to see some of her accomplishments.  The best is yet to come for this beauty and we are pleased as punch to be a part of your journey!

During NYFW, our girl Charlee, gave us a little sneak peek into what it's like being a model in one of the big presentations of the week.  Charlee was cast in the Alice + Olivia's Versailles-themed Presentation, and we love the behind the scenes collage.  It really shows all the chaos that goes into production a show and what happens to get everyone and everything ready.  We also think that Charlee looks amazing while in the presentation, and its not just because we are biased.  Thanks for the behind the scenes look Charlee!

We can't believe that New York Fashion Week has come and gone already! Every year we plan for it for months, and then in a whirlwind it is over.  We will be posting about what our models did during fashion week over the next little bit, but in the meantime we wanted to show you a few of our favorite snapshots from NYFW.  We hope these can hold you over until next week when we have a few recaps for you.  Happy weekend everyone!

Throwback Thursday: Guess Who?

It may be the start of Fashion Week, but that doesn't mean we are going to forget about our Throwback Thursday post this week!  Check out this blonde little cutie pie.  Can you believe that she grows up into the stunning model pictured below? Actually we can, that profile is perfect at any age.  We discovered Charlee Pilon in her home state of Washington and we waited patiently (and sometimes impatiently) while she finished up high school until really launching her career.  She is currently in New York city, and we can't wait to see what she does during fashion week. Don't worry we will keep you all posted.

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Prepping for NYFW

Today's MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY is a little bit different than our usual ones because we are posting about something that is about to happen.  In just a week, New York Fashion Week will be upon us, and this year is going to be one of Pulse Management's biggest years ever, if not the biggest  year we've had.  These pictures are from Liz Kennedy, Olivia Hamilton, Alisha Judge, Anna Fisher, Charlee Pilon, and Viktoria Liens' test shoots for NYFW.  If these pictures are any indicators, and we think they are, these girls are going to be some of the most sought after models this season.  This fashion week is going to be MAJOR for these models and for us, and we can't wait to see what transpires.  Stay tuned everyone, we already know of some things happening that you will love, but we can't share them with you just yet.  We will as soon as we can though, we promise!

In Their Own Words: Charlee and Mari Lou Pilon

A lot of people who visit this blog are potential models and their parents.  This post is especially for you.  We know that the modeling industry is an intimidating one to enter, and we thought it would be helpful hearing from one of our models and her mom, in their own words about their involvement with Pulse Management. Charlee and Mari Lou, thank you for your kind words, we love and appreciate you both!

Hi Stacey!

As you know, I'm currently working, and living in New York City all thanks to you & pulse management! Scouted my freshman year of high school at a track meet never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that I would ever have a chance to model and travel the world! It's been a whirlwind and something I never thought was possible, but I feel so blessed & grateful for all that you, your family, & pulse management have done for me. Being so involved in my school & sports I decided it would be best for me to have a normal high school experience, & opted out on going home schooled to start my modeling career sooner. For me, personally, it was just the best decision, and I really appreciate how you and pulse respected my decision, but also never gave up on me and waited until I was ready to take on the fashion world. You've been nothing but helpful & accommodating to me & my family through this whole process. I know when I need advice, help, or just someone in my corner you're always there & I'm extremely grateful for that. I feel like there's a lot of negativity in the media about modeling or the fashion industry in general, but I can honestly say my experience has been nothing but positive. I've gotten to travel to places I never dreamed I'd have the chance of going to, experience stuff teenage girls dream of, & meet so many new friends & form new relationships. All of pulse's partner agencies have treated me with nothing but respect and truly care about my career, and me personally as well. I'm extremely grateful for you, pulse & everything you & partner agencies have done for me & family. God bless & see you soon!

Just wanted to say thank you for all you have done for Charlee. As you know she is in New York now working and having the experience of her life! The other Pulse girls, some of her roommates, have become her good friends and she is meeting girls from all over the world. We know we could never do this without you as her manager. You have been there from the beginning to make sure that every experience Charlee has is positive. She knows that you have her back always! She can call you anytime with anything!! As a mom it is important to know that Charlee is being taken care of 5,000 miles away from home! We are so grateful for you! We appreciate that you waited for Charlee to graduate from high school and now she is giving her all to modeling! Thank you for being patient and even supportive of all of her high school athletics. She knows that you care about her as a whole person!! I could not be the mom of a model without you! Thank you for everything!!

One of the things that stays the same in the modeling industry, is that things are constantly changing.  Pulse Mgmt models Charlee Pilon and Anna Fisher got a taste of that first hand when both of them were asked to change their blonde hair to a darker shade.  Luckily these girls handled the changes like a pair of pros, updated their 'dos and snapped a few pics to show off their new looks.  Both of them are still working in NYC, and we can't wait to see some professional shots of them with their new hair colors.

Welcome to NYC Charlee!

As Stacey Eastman, Pulse Management President, was leaving New York City last week he ran into a couple of familiar faces at the airport.  Pulse Management model Charlee Pilon and her mom were arriving into the city.  Our partners at Fusion in NYC have wanted to get Charlee in the city for awhile now, but Charlee was dedicated to her athletics and school so we had to wait until the time was right.  She just graduated, and is now ready to take the fashion world by storm!

Charlee's NYC roommate should look familiar, its Pulse Management Model, Anna Fisher.  We love it when our models become friends!

We don't know how else to say it, Pulse model, Charlee Pilon, is going to be a major modeling force to be reckoned with. We are reviewing these images from a shoot she did on her last trip to LA, and we are just infatuated with them.  It is no surprise that her recent trip to New York is going so well, look at how her pictures turn out!  These are stunning Charlee, we can't wait to see what you do next.

Speaking of Charlee...

Looks like Charlee's trip is already off to a good start.  She sent us this pic this morning from her meeting at Teen Vogue.  She was (understandably) excited to enter those hallowed halls, and had to snap a pic.  No matter the outcome of her meeting, the fact that Teen Vogue wanted to meet with her is huge, and we are so proud of this girl!

And Charlee is off to...

New York City!!!  Our New York partners have been chomping at the bit to get Charlee out there, but she had some prior commitments, and is finally on her way to NYC.  We always tell our potential models that we will work around whatever you need us to.  Whether its basketball, club volleyball, state track meets, you name it, we've worked around it.  The one thing we don't work around though is boyfriends, and most of our models' dads thank us for that! We also tell our models to stay in their regular school and keep their lives as normal as possible, when and if we book out of town jobs for them, is when we start talking about arranging for them to do their studies online.  We only want to enrich our models' lives, not take away from them. Now the time is right for Charlee, and opportunity has come knocking.  We are looking forward to seeing what she accomplishes while in New York, we just know it's going to be good!

Sometimes we say this to the point that it sounds cliche, but we really do feel like our models and our team are a family.  We are counting down the days until our next Dolls Model Management Test Shoot in LA, and we can't wait to see some of our new faces, and get some of our team back together.  As a company we have models and scouts scattered across the country, so when we get together it is such a treat.  We have been looking through these pics from this fall when we got the team and a few models together for meetings and test shoots in Hollywood, and we are getting so excited for our next shoot.

Natalie Keyser, Stacey Eastman, and Lacey were showing Liz Kennedy and her mom the ropes at Liz's very first test shoot.  Currently Liz is in Tokyo on a $25,000 contract.  This girl is going to be a superstar and she was lucky to have Natalie to mentor her while in Hollywood.

We also love seeing our models form friendships together.  Paris Naro, Rachel Cook and Charlee Pilon all became friends in LA, and it served them well when they were booking jobs together. We find it is nice for our models to connect and form friendships with each other because they can relate to each other.  Being a model is exciting, but it has its unique sets of stressors and pressure, and it is comforting for our models to have each other to talk about what is going on.  We are so looking forward to our next Hollywood shoot in just a few weeks!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your nearest and dearest.  In continuing with our week of gratitude, we have to say we are thankful for our model, Charlee Pilon, for consistently having such impressive photo shoots! I don't know if she can take a bad picture.  These images are for a shoot she did in LA with Darren Tieste.  If you click on the link now, she is the cover image for his website. So clearly he is just as smitten with Charlee as we are.  He has photographed for Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and Cosmopolitan, so having Charlee up on his site is a major coup!  Way to go Charlee, keep up the good work.

LA Fashion Week: Ashton Michael S/S 2014 Show

Congrats to Paris Naro for booking her first fashion show.  She walked in Ashton Michael's show at LA Fashion Week.  Ashton Michael's designs have been worn by celebrities like Cher, Will.i.am, and Diddy, and now our girl Paris.  We have a feeling this will be the first of many runways that this beauty will walk down.  Luckily our newcomer Paris, was in good company.  She was joined on the runway by Pulse Management Models, Rachel Cook and Charlee Pilon.  We have no doubt Rachel and Charlee helped show Paris the ropes.  To watch a video of the fashion show click on this link, and enjoy!
