Stacey's Red Carpet Interview at the Inside Amato Premiere

While we were in New York for Fashion Week in September, we were invited to attend the premiere of Rocco Leo Gaglioti's film Inside Amato by Furne One. (In case you missed it we posted about our night at the premiere here) Stacey was interviewed on the red carpet, and in the above compilation of the red carpet interviews you can see our Stacey starting at 0:13. Way to represent Pulse Stacey, and we think you should be interviewed on Red Carpets more often!

20 Questions with Madison Moehling

We've said it a million times, but we love our models so much. They obviously look amazing in photographs, but there is so much more to each of these individuals, and we want you to be able to learn more about them. Our model Madison Moehling, who happens to be working in Manhattan currently, recently sat down with us for a little Q&A that we think you are going to love. Interview with Lilli Junge

We know that a lot of you who read this blog are either potential models, or their parents who are trying to learn a little bit more about us. We are posting these videos for you to see a little bit more about who some of our models are and how they have felt on their journeys so far. We also want you all to get to know our models a little bit better, because we think they have such fun personalities to go along with their beautiful exteriors. 

We are so glad that Lilli and her mom came out to New York city for their test shoot, and we loved seeing the bonding experience that happens between these mothers and daughters. Not only did Lilli have her first test shoot, she and her mom explored the city, and caught a broadway show. We're glad you enjoyed New York Lilli, because we see potential in you that could have you spending a lot of time there in the future.

Brook Swanson Video Interview

You may remember when we introduced you to Brook Swanson here. Brook is one of our newest models, and we are so happy that our scout found her, and then she decided to sign with us. Brook and her mom came out to New York City for their her test shoot with Timothy Rosado. The images turned out even better than we had hoped, and we loved having a little bit of time to get to know Brook and her mom better. As you can see in the above video they are both amazing people, and we are looking forward to a long working relationship with them both.

Christian Sereika in Funny or Die Video

Christian Sereika, one of our Action Sports Athletes, was recently in a video posted on Funny or Die, and it is pretty funny. So far more the video has more than 21k views! Christian appears at the beginning and then he gets more camera time at the 2:49 mark. You can check out the video HERE. Warning, this video has some profanity, so please keep that in mind if you click to watch it.

We have been managing Christian for years now, and he is every bit as cool and down to earth as he is talented (and good looking). We are looking forward to many more years of exciting stuff ahead with Christian.

New Video of Alex Romney

We tell our models all the time how important their personality is for their career.  Beautiful models are a dime a dozen, and their personality is what is going to set them apart from all of the other models at the castings they go to.  At their photoshoots, being upbeat and positive makes a big impression on the rest of the crew.  No one wants to work (in any capacity) with someone who is complaining all the time.

Some models are more reserved, and it is a challenge to be outgoing and upbeat in front of the camera.  Our model Alex Romney is not one of them.  We recently received this video from her, and it shows why we love her so much.  Her fun personality is infectious, and we know that it is a big reason why people love having her on jobs.  Remember this Aeropostale shoot she did?  Some of the bookers at the agencies we have set up Alex to work with even send out videos like this of her to potential clients, and we can definitely see why.

Alex, you are amazing, and we love managing your career!

Pulse Management Introduces: Hailey Henderson

Our scout Lacey has found us some major stars over the years, and it looks like she has found us another one in Hailey Henderson.  In the video below you can hear Hailey and her mom share how they ended up in New York City at the Dolls Model Management shoot from their hometown in San Diego.  

Hailey and Amanda Henderson are every bit as fun as they seem in the video, and their mother/daughter relationship will serve them well as they embark on Hailey's modeling career.  Model moms (and sometimes dads/grandparents/older siblings etc.) are the unsung heroes for each model.  The moms usually travel all over the world and make huge sacrifices to help their child pursue a modeling career.  If what we saw in New York is any indication, Amanda is going to be a huge support for Hailey, and those two are going to have a great time no matter where Hailey's modeling ends up taking them.

In the meantime enjoy these pictures of Hailey (all by Timothy Rosado, and her makeup is by Aracely Arocho).  Hailey has a really unique and cool editorial vibe going, and we're totally digging it!  We can't wait to see who else is too!

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Madison Moehling for Deux Hommes

Today's Major Moment Monday is major for a few reasons.  Our model, Madison Moehling, is one of the four models in the above (and amazing) Deux Hommes "Escape" Video Editorial.  As one of our newer faces, Madison is still breaking into the business, and being in an editorial like this one is major for her career.  As a new model, anytime you get to see yourself in something with a production caliber like this, it is very exciting.  Madison looks incredible and we are so proud to see that her time in New York is being well spent.  Keep up the good work Madison!

Pulse Management Introduces: Abbey Munn

Happy Friday everyone!  This beauty is Abbey Munn, one of the models we recently had at our NYC Dolls Test Shoot.  Abbey and her mom traveled to New York City from a small town in the midwest, and we are so glad they did.  

These pictures of Abbey were taken by the talented Jeremy James.  We were so impressed by the team of Jeremy and make up artist Miriam Robstad.  The two looks they shot for Abbey were different enough that you can see her versatility, but subtle enough that you still are noticing Abbey, not her hair/makeup etc. (Which is exactly what you want from a test shoot!)  This is why having our new faces do their test shoots with Dolls is so critical.  When a potential model signs up for a Dolls Shoot (with us) we know that he/she is getting artists that are established in the fashion industry and will shoot the pictures for his/her book that we need to start to get the model work.  Without the right kinds of images, we are unable to manage a model. 

In the video below you can hear from Abbey and her mom, how they ended up working with Pulse and their overall impression of their shoot in New York.  We are so glad that our scout Lacey found Abbey, and we are looking forward to managing this beauty!

Pulse Management Introduces: Emma Evenhus

You guys!  Yesterday our blog traffic was huge, and we can't help but notice that it always does that when we introduce you to some of our new models.  So thank you all for your interest in our new faces, and for sharing in our excitement about them.

Today we would like to introduce you to Emma Evenhus and her mom Amy.  They both were at our recent NYC Dolls photo shoot  Emma peaked our interest right off the bat, and it's not just because she has eyebrows that would make Cara Delevingne jealous!  Emma is confident and poised beyond her years, and her pictures by Timothy Rosado are just stunning.  We are hoping to have a lot more to update you on about Emma as her career progresses, but in the meantime enjoy these photos and the video below.

Pulse Management Introduces: Jaden Stugelmayer

Recently we had a Dolls Test Shoot in New York City, and we were blown away by some of our new faces!  This week we are going to share some of our newest models with you.  Along with their shoot photos, we have short interviews with the models and their moms as well, so you can get an idea of their personalities, and how they started modeling with us.

First up we have the stunning and ethereal Jaden Stugelmayer.  Jaden (and her cheekbones) turned it on when Timothy Rosado started taking her picture.  She may seem a little bit shy when you first meet her, but when the camera starts clicking, look out, we have a future supermodel on our hands.

We are looking forward to big things from Jaden, and if she takes her modeling as seriously as she takes her gaming, she is going to have a great career ahead!

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Sophia Skloss for Delpozo

Last week while some of the Pulse Management crew was in New York City for Fashion Week, we  had the pleasure to watch our model Sophia Skloss in the Delpozo Spring 2016 Ready-to-wear show. We went to dinner with Sophia and her mom Karin, the night before the show and she was telling us all about how chaotic fashion week had been, but also about how much she was loving it.

It was such a treat getting to watch Sophia walk the runway, especially at a show as beautiful as this one.  One of the things I loved the most about watching this particular show, is that the hair and makeup wasn't over the top, it just allowed the models to look like themselves.  (My front row seat (!!!) also helped me see all of the details of the clothing, bags, and shoes that may have been harder to catch by viewing the pictures online later)

While we were waiting for the show to start we had the opportunity to chat with Sophia's mom, and I have to say how impressed I was with both her and Sophia.  She mentioned that as parents, she and Sophia's dad prioritize Sophia's education and her grades.  When she wanted to go to this NYFW, her dad said she would only be able to go if her grades were at a certain level. So Sophia worked hard and got her grades where they needed to be so she would be able to walk in the shows.  Sometimes being a model looks glamorous (which it can be), but there is also a lot of work that goes into it, including keeping up with your school work, and it shows a lot about Sophia that she is willing to put in the work so she can continue with her career.

Sophia is currently in London walking the runways for London Fashion week, and we will keep you updated on all of her exciting bookings there. In the meantime enjoy these photos and videos that will give you a behind the scenes and up close look at this amazingly beautiful fashion show.

Pulse Management and Fashion News Live

Happy Fashion Week everyone! As of today Fashion Week has officially started (although if you've been reading our blog this week it has been off to a great start for us since Tuesday!).  We couldn't be more excited to announce our partnership with Fashion News Live this NYFW.  If you aren't familiar with Fashion News Live, check out the video above and you will see host Rocco Leo Gaglioti doing what he does best, interviewing fashion's elite.  He will be backstage at many of the shows during fashion week, and bringing you the news from places most people do not have access to so you don't want to miss it.



Keep an eye out for our Pulse Models in some of his videos, especially next week when FNL is hosting a screening of the movie Inside Amato by Furne One. A few of our Pulse Models and members of the Pulse Team will be in attendance and walking the red carpet.  Don't worry we will blog about it all when it happens.  A couple of our models

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Olivia Hamilton for Uniqlo

Confession, I have watched this video of UNIQLO JEANS AUTOMNE/HIVER 2015 campaign a lot of times.  A LOT.  I just can't get over the beautiful movement, and how the models can be that flexible in a pair of jeans.  We have mentioned Olivia Hamilton's ballet training before, and it keeps coming in handy on her shoots (especially her Teen Vogue shoot with Ansel Elgort).  You can't have that kind of effortless-looking control of your body without years of training, and we are so glad that Olivia has been able to use her talent in ballet to enrich her modeling career.  A campaign for Uniqlo is huge (Click here to see her first campaign for them), and we are so proud of you Olivia!

Major Moment Monday: Kristina Jordan for Sportswear International

Check out our model Kristina Jordan from her editorial shoot with Sportswear International.  We love when there is a video along with still photos from a shoot because it helps us feel like we were on set!
We found Kristina in her hometown of San Diego and she was a part of our group of models that we had working in New York City this summer.  Our models have been making us so proud lately, and Kristina is definitely one of our Pulse models on the rise.

Pulse Management Introduces Mia Speicher

We are the first ones to understand when parents come to us with concerns about getting their child started in modeling.  It is an intimidating industry that is notorious for having people trying to scam the uninformed out of their money and sometimes away from their moral code.  Stacey and Shayna Eastman (President and COO of Pulse Management), and not only a husband and wife team, they are parents to six lovely children, so they fully understand all of the responsibility that comes with parenting.  It is also why they don't take the responsibility lightly when it comes to managing a model.

As you will hear in the video below, we waited quite awhile to finally do a test shoot with Mia.  It took five years (FIVE!), from when we first scouted Mia in Colorado for her to come and do a test shoot with us.  We patiently waited and answered and questions and concerns that they had, and finally we are able to get this girl's career going!

We didn't know if we were ever going to get a chance to work with this beautiful young woman, and we are thrilled that we are now managing her!  Good things come to those who wait, and Mia we are so excited to get going with your career.

Pulse Management Introduces Katie Isenbarger

One of our favorite things about our Dolls Test Shoots is meeting our new models and finding out where they are from and what made them decide to have us do their test shoots, and eventually manage their careers.  Katie and her mom Jill, joined us at our last shoot from Indiana.  She is stunning in person, and her shoot with Timothy Rosado was nothing short of amazing in our opinion.

We also loved hearing about how, like Ava and her mom mentioned yesterday, the trip to NYC was good for their relationship and they were enjoying spending time together.  Not to mention when we notice or hear about our models becoming friends with each other it makes us so happy!  There are so many instances and portrayals of women being competitive with each other and seeing each other as "the enemy", we love seeing even teenage girls evolve past that and develop friendships with other new models.  These friendships will prove to be meaningful and so helpful throughout their careers because they can relate to the unique and exciting lifestyle that modeling comes with.

Pulse Management Introduces Ava Becker

We just wrapped up another Dolls Model Management shoot in New York City and to say we are excited about the new models we photographed is a huge understatement.  We are going to dedicate blog posts the next few days to introduce you to some of our new faces.  

First up is the stunning Ava, who we discovered in Kansas.  In the video below she and her mom share how they were scouted, and their experiences with Pulse Management.  We know that a lot of people who read our blog are interested in modeling, so we want to share with you our new models' experiences in their own words.  

Before the models start their photoshoots we take some polaroids of them, and then they get to work with the insanely talented photographer, Timothy Rosado.  Timothy and his hair and make up team work their magic on the models, and then they send us the finished images, and they are incredible.  

We loved Ava's polaroids, and her pictures from Timothy show us that she has so much potential in modeling.  We are looking forward to managing this beauty because we can see her having an exciting career ahead.

As a side note, we loved in the video when Ava and her mom mentioned that they loved the photoshoot and trip to New York together as bonding time.  At Pulse Management we are really invested in our models, and not just as working models, but as people.  We know they are young men and women with families and other interests, and we don't take that lightly.  Hearing that our photoshoot helps bring family members closer together is just the icing on the cake for us!
