Rachel Cook on the Cover of Ellements Magazine

Rachel Cook is on a hot streak.  She was recently on the cover and featured inside in an editorial for Ellements Magazine.  The stunning pictures were photographed by David Walden, and Campbell Ritchie was the hair and make up artist.  The three of them made quite a dream team, because these pictures are just about as flawless as they come.

Amazing Photos of Matt Chase

My oh my, these pictures of Matt Chase, our Pulse Management Action Sports snowboarder are just out of this world.  Seriously, don't they look like they were shot on another planet? We are already expecting to see big things out of Matt, but then we see pics like this and he totally ups the ante.  Keep up the good work Matt, we are stoked about what you have ahead.

Christian Sereika hits Hollywood!

Pulse Management Action Sports star, Christian Sereika, is soon to be another kind of star as well!  He just finished shooting an episode of ABC's hit show Castle.  He is lamenting the fact that they made him cut his hair, but it was all totally worth it to be on such a popular show. Way to go Christian, maybe you and Armon will start in a feature film together soon.  Just in case you forgot what Christian is known for (you know, besides his acting...) check out the pic below. 

Meagan Lee's Bright Editorial

We can't get enough of these pictures of our girl, Meagan Lee, for the mega-brand Lacoste. This was a 90's inspired editorial, and now we finally understand why the 90's are back! If only everyone looked this good in their 90s garb. Way to make an entire decade's worth of trends look absolutely current and amazing Meagan.

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Introducing Alex

Today's MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY is a little bit different than our other ones because it is current.  As I'm sure you are aware, we announced the winner of our 1st Online Model Search on Friday, and it is Alex Wallace.  This contest, and Alex winning our contest is pretty major in our eyes! We have compiled a little video to introduce you to Alex and her parents, and believe me, you will be seeing a lot more of this girl!

AND THE WINNER IS...

We couldn't be happier to announce that we have found a winner for our 1st Pulse Management Online Model Search, and it is Alex Wallace!  The above picture was one included in her entry, taken by a family member. Can you imagine how good she is going to look when we get her in front of a fashion photographer?!

We would like to thank everyone that entered our search for helping to make it such a success.  Out of all of the entries, we narrowed it down to five finalists, who we had online video meetings with this week. After meeting with our finalists we found our winner!

Get ready Alex, because your modeling career has officially begun! We will be taking Alex to the Hollywood Hills to do her first test shoot with the Dolls Model Management team.  She is also headed to NYC with us for more photoshoots and to meet with our partner agency there. Don't fret we will be documenting her whole journey on our blog and instagram, so it will be like you readers are there with us, each step of the way, as we launch our latest superstar!

Look Who Got Bit by the Acting Bug

Pulse Management's Armon Eastman is adding to his resume and is starting his acting career.  Don't worry fashion world, he is still very invested in his modeling career, but he's just hoping to join the ranks of the other successful model/actors in Hollywood.  As usual, don't worry we will keep you posted on all of his exciting happenings!

Carson for Urban Outfitters

We loved seeing Carson Bruner in this post on the Urban Outfitters blog.  Not only do she look perfectly luminous, but the accompanying blog article is great to read.  We've been in the business for a long time, but we still love to see how much a girl can transform with a different hair and makeup look.  Carson has been signed with us for a couple of years now, and we know that we have only scratched the surface so far with what this girl can do!

Introducing Shelby King

Hello everyone!  We have been so busy with the model search, we have missed blogging for you guys about all of the other exciting happenings at Pulse Management.  First things first, do you all know Shelby King yet? She will probably be a household name soon, so its good that you are getting acquainted.  Shelby is one of the best wakeboarders we have ever seen, and wakeboarding is one of our favorite things, so we have seen a ton of them.  Not only does she kill it on her wakeboard, she looks amazing while doing it.  We definitely envision this girl going the route of our surfer/model Aaron Jessee.  We don't think we'll be able to keep our fashion friends at bay for this girl.  

We have been so pleased with the response we had to our first Online Model Search! We have narrowed the entries down to a handful of finalists.  Over the next couple of days we will have video meetings online with our finalists to help us better choose a winner.  We can't wait to be able to announce our winner to you all on Friday, and get this lucky model's career started!

This week Stacey Eastman met up with Aaron Jessee on the North Shore to talk about Aaron's career and to catch some waves.  We can just call the beach our new conference room, because really who wouldn't want to have a meeting there?! Happy Birthday Olivia!

I guess this is a good week for birthdays!  Today is Olivia Hamilton's 16th birthday, and we are sending all of the happiest birthday wishes her way.  Olivia is beautiful on the inside and out, and she is one of the most poised and remarkable 16 year olds we have had the pleasure of meeting. We loved her smart words in this post.  Happy birthday Olivia, lets make this year your best one yet!

New Liz Kennedy Video

You guys.  We are so proud of this video we made for our girl Liz Kennedy.  Not only does it showcase her flawless beauty, but it also gives you a behind the scenes look into how we launch a model, but why we do it.  As you can tell by our blog, we love our models and we love introducing new models into this crazy fashion world.  We shot this short film shortly before Liz left for her first international contract, a trip to Tokyo for a guaranteed $25,000.  Which is pretty unheard of for a brand new model. We hope you enjoy this video, and that it helps give you more insight into our company and our passion for the modeling industry. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Stacey!

Happiest of birthdays today to our fearless leader, Stacey Eastman.  Without him there would be no Pulse Management, and all of these models, whose careers we post about daily, who knows what they would all be up to.  Stacey is like a big brother to our whole team, and we love and consider him to be family.  We know our models feel the same way.  He is celebrating his birthday in Hawaii with his wife, Shayna, so we know he is having a great birthday! We hope this is a great year for you Stacey!

Michelle McCallum for Grazia Magazine

Pulse Management signed Michelle McCallum when she was 12 years old, and we aren't going to out her age, but we'll just say that she has been enjoying a successful modeling career ever since.  Check out BOTH of these editorials she recently did for Grazia Magazine, one of Italy's leading fashion mags. When we sign a model, we want her to have as long of a career as she is able to, and with Michelle looking like this, it doesn't look like her career is slowing down any time soon!

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Courtney Smerski for Nina Ricci

In honor of Paris Fashion Week, this week's MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY takes us back to 2008 when our girl Courtney Smerski, landed this amazing Nina Ricci advertising campaign.  Nina Ricci is a fashion house created in Paris, and had a resurgence when Olivier Theyskens was at the brand's helm starting in 2006.  Courtney starring in this campaign was huge, and it still remains one of our favorite high fashion advertisements to date.

Matt Chase Places 2nd at the US Revolution Tour!

Pulse Mgmt Action Sports rising star, Matt Chase, killed it in Mammoth Mountain last week.  He competed in the US Revolution Tour and took 2nd place, behind Brandon Davis (the Olympic alternate).  Check out the current tour standings here.  Matt, you stomped those landings, and made it look easy. We can't wait to see what you do next!

Welcome Home Olivia!

Olivia Hamilton returned home this week from her second trip to Tokyo for modeling.  She posted the following on her personal Facebook page:

"I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself! I lived in Tokyo for five weeks alone, navigated the subway system everyday, used maps to walk places, made friends from around the globe, worked a full job while doing school, lived on my own in an apartment, and flew internationally by myself! That's quite the accomplishment for me before the age of sixteen!"

We are proud of you too Olivia! You obviously have the appearance that is needed in the modeling world, but you also have to intelligence and street smarts needed to navigate new countries and cities with aplomb.  

Rachel Cook for Jill Stuart

Pulse Management's Rachel Cook continues her hot streak while in Asia with this Jill Stuart magazine.  The fashion industry can be fickle sometimes, and a girl that works a lot in LA may not be able to book a job in Miami. As a management company it is our responsibility to figure out where our models will be the most successful at any given time and then figure out the right agency to place her with in that market.  Right now Rachel is working like never before in Asia, meaning we did our job right. Everybody wins!

Ali Stephens for Marie Claire

Nothing makes us more proud than seeing one of our superstar's looking absolutely amazing in a MAJOR magazine editorial.  You would think some of the excitement would diminish over seeing Ali in a magazine, but it hasn't.  We are just as excited seeing these pictures as we were when we were first launching Ali years ago.  In the modeling world, career longevity is a rarity, and we are so proud of Ali for the work she is continuing to do.  These photos that ran in Marie Claire are as amazing as any other photos Ali has taken, which goes to show why she is still in such high demand.
