Yesterday the fashion world lost one of its finest. The incomparably talented Oscar de la Renta passed away at the age of 82, and the fashion community is mourning this great man. While reading various tributes to Mr. de la Renta online what stood out to me most is what a kind and loving man he was. His designs were worn by royalty, multiple First Ladies, celebrities and most recently he designed the wedding dress for Amal Alamuddin who wed George Clooney.
