Pulse Management Action Sports Introduces Nate Provost

Our Action Sports Division is growing at a rapid pace these days, and we couldn't be happier with the talented athletes we are signing to our team.  Today we want you all to meet Nate Provost.  Nate lives in Grant's Pass, Oregon, just like Pulse Mgmt President, Stacey Eastman. We have a feeling that most of their meetings will be taking place while long boarding...

Back to Nate, saying he is an amazing skater/longboarder is an understatement.  Look at him long boarding on his hands, which he says is one of his favorite things to do, especially for other people. According to Nate he signed with Pulse because, "Stacey is an amazing person, and I want to follow my dream!"

Nate, we are happy to help you in pursuing your goals.  Welcome to the Pulse Mgmt team.  Nate will also be scouting for us, so maybe he will scout you?

Charlee in Hollywood

We don't know how else to say it, Pulse model, Charlee Pilon, is going to be a major modeling force to be reckoned with. We are reviewing these images from a shoot she did on her last trip to LA, and we are just infatuated with them.  It is no surprise that her recent trip to New York is going so well, look at how her pictures turn out!  These are stunning Charlee, we can't wait to see what you do next.

Have You Met Kayla?

Everyone, we'd like you to meet Kayla, the newest addition to the Pulse Mgmt team.  Kayla is joining us as a model scout, and we are thrilled to have her!  Kayla is from Portland, Oregon and she was introduced to Pulse through our scouting director, Lacey who actually scouted Kayla (and we can see why!).  When I asked Kayla why she wanted to be a scout with Pulse, she said, "Because I love the industry and everything that comes with it. I am very excited to work with all the talented and honest people pulse has to offer."  

She also said that she hopes that she will be able to meet new people through scouting, and she hopes to make people's dreams come true.  This seems like a perfect fit for you Kayla!

Natalie on the COVER of Clam Magazine

Check out longtime Pulse Mgmt model, Natalie Keyser, on the cover of Clam Magazine.  Natalie is looking as amazing as ever on the magazine's Spring/Summer 2014 issue.  Clam Magazine is dedicated to images of art and fashion, and the fact that they put this image of Natalie on their cover just goes to show how amazing she really is.  We're proud of you Natalie.  We can't wait to see what you have to show us from your current work trip to Mexico City.

Liz STUNS in Elle Japan

I have to give our girl, Liz Kennedy, a HUGE congrats because she did something I have not witnessed before.  After seeing this picture Pulse Management President, Stacey Eastman, emailed me that he was left speechless.  Now anyone who knows Stacey, knows this is a huge accomplishment.  This picture of Liz, wearing Valentino, ran recently in Elle Japan.  It amazes me that Liz has only been with us for a few months, but her images look like pics of a seasoned pro.  This girl is going to be one of the biggest models in the industry, trust us on that one.

COACHELLA Weekend One

What a crazy weekend it was for some of our Pulse Mgmt team.  We hit up THE music festival of the year, Coachella, for its opening weekend.  Our main goal was to search high and low for potential models, and man oh man did we succeed.  We can't wait to share with you the models we sign and develop that we found at Coachella.  Stacey and Shayna, along with super-scouts Vikki and Lacey arrived on Thursday at LAX where they met Lisa (me) for an amazing and entertaining dinner in LA. Whenever we get a few of our team members together, we always have a lot of laughs and this dinner was no exception.  After dinner, Stacey, Shayna, Lacey and Vikki road tripped it out to Palm Desert for a weekend of music and scouting!

 Can you tell we are all like family?  Well Stacey and Shayna technically are family (they are married) but they make the rest of us feel like they are part of the Eastman family.

Pulse Mgmt Launches Kara Beller in a MAJOR Way

Everyone, we would like to introduce you to Kara.  She is one of our newest models, and she is already slated to do some major things.

When Pulse Management President, Stacey Eastman, and his wife Shayna flew into LAX for our last Dolls Model Mgmt shoot they spotted Kara in the terminal.  They both noticed her and thought she needed to sign with us, ASAP! Unfortunately there wasn’t time to go talk to her, and in the madness of LAX they lost her.

Two days later we were all at the Dolls Shoot, and in walks Kara and her mom.  They were at LAX because they were flying in town from Minnesota for Kara’s Dolls Shoot!  Kara was scouted by one of our amazing scouts, and Stacey had actually met with her online before, but seeing her in real life was even better.

We had to change the location of the Dolls Shoot at the last minute and Kara and her mom went to the original location.  They waited there for an hour, and were sure they had been suckered into a “modeling scam”, until we finally go a hold of them and got them headed to the correct location.  

Kara’s shoot went amazingly well, and we knew that this girl’s career was going to take off quickly!  We interviewed Kara and her mom right after she finished her shoot in the video in the post directly below this one.

The Dolls Shoot was on February 28th of this year.  Fast forward to last week when we had some good news for Kara.  We thought it would be fun to video our call with her (the video above), so you could all see how exciting it is when your life potentially changes forever.

Kara’s career is taking off at lightning speed, and the fact that she is already headed to New York is HUGE.  New York is the toughest market to be successful in as a new model, and they are already asking US for HER. We sure are glad that even though originally Kara and her family were skeptical we were scamming them, (especially as she waited in a parking lot thinking her photo shoot was non-existent), they stuck with us, and look at the amazing things we have done for her already.

Working in the modeling we are usually met with a fair amount of skepticism, and we totally understand that.  There are some nefarious people out there, that want to prey on people being vulnerable, and we wanted to post this video to help show all of you that is NOT how we operate.  We scout models, we develop them, and then we send them around the world while managing their careers. Our current models can vouch for our authenticity, and we hope that this video does as well.  For Kara, her career is now a reality, and it wouldn't have been one if she hadn't trusted us.  Thank you Kara, we are happy to represent you, and we are going to accomplish HUGE things together.

Interview With Kara Beller and her Awesome Mom

We took this video immediately after she completed her shoot with Dolls Model Management.  We thought it might be helpful for some of you to see how a model feels right after finishing her first shoot.  Little did Kara know, within a matter of weeks after her shoot she would be headed to New York to conquer the fashion industry!

Rachel Cook is Everywhere!

If you've been out shopping lately, chances are you have seen Rachel Cook in one advertisement or another.  We have been seeing pics of Rachel's ads snapped everywhere from the drugstore, to Kohl's, to lingerie stores in Asia.  For a model it is alway exciting to see your work pop up in your everyday life, and the same goes for her model management. Keep up the good work Rachel!

Speaking of Charlee...

Looks like Charlee's trip is already off to a good start.  She sent us this pic this morning from her meeting at Teen Vogue.  She was (understandably) excited to enter those hallowed halls, and had to snap a pic.  No matter the outcome of her meeting, the fact that Teen Vogue wanted to meet with her is huge, and we are so proud of this girl!

And Charlee is off to...

New York City!!!  Our New York partners have been chomping at the bit to get Charlee out there, but she had some prior commitments, and is finally on her way to NYC.  We always tell our potential models that we will work around whatever you need us to.  Whether its basketball, club volleyball, state track meets, you name it, we've worked around it.  The one thing we don't work around though is boyfriends, and most of our models' dads thank us for that! We also tell our models to stay in their regular school and keep their lives as normal as possible, when and if we book out of town jobs for them, is when we start talking about arranging for them to do their studies online.  We only want to enrich our models' lives, not take away from them. Now the time is right for Charlee, and opportunity has come knocking.  We are looking forward to seeing what she accomplishes while in New York, we just know it's going to be good!

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Danna Lee Covers Elle Magazine

For this week's MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY we are reminiscing about when Pulse Mgmt's, Danna Lee Ballard covered Elle Magazine.  This cover is from French Elle in January of 2006.  Dana Lee is a model we started when she was a young teenager, and we managed her through a very successful runway and editorial career. Everytime we see this killer cover, we are reminded of how much love we have for this girl, and what a pleasure it has been working with her for so many years.

Hannah in NYLON Magazine Editorial

Hannah Holman is looking as amazing as ever in the Spring/Summer 2014 of NYLON Magazine.  This editorial was photographed by Marc Hibbert.  Personally Nylon is one of my favorite magazines, and having Hannah featured in an editorial for them just makes us like the magazine even more.  Congrats Hannah, this was a job well done!

Natalie Keyser in NY Magazine Editorial

You guys, we are absolutely in awe of our girl, Natalie Keyser, in these photos.  An editorial in NY Magazine is a big deal (understatement), but to look this amazing in a NY Mag editorial is nothing short of a MAJOR accomplishment.  Natalie has been one of our models since she was 12 years old, and this girl just keeps getting better! This editorial is something to be proud of Natalie, and we are definitely proud of you.

Liz Kennedy in Spur Magazine

Well, Liz Kennedy may just be the prettiest blushing bride we have seen!  She definitely makes a strong case for brides to wear pink.  This ad ran in Japan's Spur Magazine, and it is for Tasaki Bridal Jewelry.  Spur Magazine has been good to our Pulse Management girls, but we don't blame them for casting our models, look at how stunning the pictures turn out!

Olivia Hamilton in a Toshiba Commercial

Check out this video of Olivia Hamilton in a commercial for Toshiba.  The video is actually of someone doing a product review of the television, but at 2:18 you see our gorgeous Olivia on the screen.  She looks as amazing as ever, and we totally understand why Toshiba is using Olivia's gorgeous face to demonstrate their screens, she makes everything look beautiful!  Congrats on your commercial Olivia.

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Hannah Holman Covers Vogue Japan

For today's MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY we are going back to 2011 when our girl Hannah Holman, covered Vogue Japan.  We love Hannah's red hair, we love those piercing blue eyes, and most of all we love when one of our girls lands on a Vogue cover.  We are anxiously pushing, and hoping to get our 20th Vogue cover by the year's end, do you think we can do it?  We know that a few of our models have the potential of being on a Vogue cover, and we can't wait to see who does it next.

Rachel Cook on the Cover of Ellements Magazine

Rachel Cook is on a hot streak.  She was recently on the cover and featured inside in an editorial for Ellements Magazine.  The stunning pictures were photographed by David Walden, and Campbell Ritchie was the hair and make up artist.  The three of them made quite a dream team, because these pictures are just about as flawless as they come.

Amazing Photos of Matt Chase

My oh my, these pictures of Matt Chase, our Pulse Management Action Sports snowboarder are just out of this world.  Seriously, don't they look like they were shot on another planet? We are already expecting to see big things out of Matt, but then we see pics like this and he totally ups the ante.  Keep up the good work Matt, we are stoked about what you have ahead.

Christian Sereika hits Hollywood!

Pulse Management Action Sports star, Christian Sereika, is soon to be another kind of star as well!  He just finished shooting an episode of ABC's hit show Castle.  He is lamenting the fact that they made him cut his hair, but it was all totally worth it to be on such a popular show. Way to go Christian, maybe you and Armon will start in a feature film together soon.  Just in case you forgot what Christian is known for (you know, besides his acting...) check out the pic below. 

Meagan Lee's Bright Editorial

We can't get enough of these pictures of our girl, Meagan Lee, for the mega-brand Lacoste. This was a 90's inspired editorial, and now we finally understand why the 90's are back! If only everyone looked this good in their 90s garb. Way to make an entire decade's worth of trends look absolutely current and amazing Meagan.
