Fusion's Leomie Anderson in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Were you all amongst the millions of people who watched the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last night? If you did you saw our partner, Fusion Model Management's Leomie Anderson walk the runway. Booking the Victoria's Secret fashion show is one of the biggest jobs a model can book, and the fact that Fusion had a girl in the show is HUGE! We are not surprised because both Fusion and Leomie are amazing. We have nothing but confidence in Fusion's abilities, which is why we have so many of our models placed with them in New York City.

Leomie is rightfully getting all kinds of buzz right now because of the fashion show. We loved this article about her in i-D Magazine. Our favorite part is when she said, "I just believe people will continue to work with you because you've got a good personality and you're good at your job. I am not interested in being a one season girl." This is exactly along the lines of what we tell our models all the time!

We can't issue a big enough, heartfelt congratulations to our partners at Fusion and to Leomie for such a major accomplishment!

Why We Love Holly Sherman

Everyone, this is Holly Sherman, one of favorite models. We may say that a lot about our models, but with Holly we are going to tell you why we love her so much. She signed with us a little while ago after being scouted in Illinois. She did her test shoot with Dolls Model Management, and we saw that she had a lot of potential. Like many of the models we work with, Holly had a couple of things to work on before we launched her career. I won't specifically say what Holly needed to work on, but generally models need to either work on their grades (if they are still in high school they can't travel if they don't have good grades), sometimes they need to clear up their skin, or start exercising/eating better to have a healthier figure (it may seem superficial, but it is the industry we work in).

Part of our model management is the development of a model. We could have tried to launch Holly's career after her first shoot, and she might have been successful, we wouldn't have signed her if we didn't think she was someone special. We just knew that if we developed her a little bit and gave her the opportunity to work on what she needed to, she would have a much better chance in this fickle industry. Instead of being a good model right away, we wanted to have her be an incredible one after a little time preparing for her career.

So after Holly's shoot in New York, she took our advice seriously and spent months working on getting herself ready to really dive into her modeling career. We kept in contact and were impressed by Holly's dedication to her goals. Soon she was ready to travel back to New York and work with our partner Fusion Model Management.

"I'm signed with Fusion and currently building my book," said Holly. "It has been an extraordinary journey so far and I can't wait to see what the future holds."

Neither can we! Seeing Holly starting to live her dream of being a model is so rewarding because we know she worked hard to get there. That will serve her well because she will appreciate her successes more. We hope that our current and future models will see this story about Holly and realize that if/when they receive criticism they can either ignore it, or use it to make themselves better. We can't think of a better motto for our models, and we hope they can all have Holly's maturity and drive in their careers as well.

Thanksgiving Hawaiian Style

Not only was this the Eastman family's first Thanksgiving since their move to Hawaii, they were lucky to have some amazing visitors join them. Jodie Gordon and Travis Kipp from Fusion Model Management. Having business partners that feel like family is definitely something to be thankful for, and this trip is going to have to be a Thanksgiving tradition!

It is no secret how much we love our partners at Fusion Model Management in New York City.  We want to publicly declare our excitement for them about their model Leomie Anderson walking in THE Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that taped yesterday.  Each year walking in the VS Show is a bigger deal as it gets more and more popular, and we are so happy that one of our partners' models was in the show.  You better believe we will be watching when it airs on CBS on December 8th and cheering extra loud when Leomie walks down the runway!  

Jodie and her team at Fusion are some of the best in the business, which is why we trust them with our models.  Congrats to you all, we are over the moon for you!

Maddie and Holly are on the Move!

Pulse Models, Maddie West (left) and Holly Sherman (right), are two of our new faces that have some exciting opportunities unfolding.  Maddie heads to New York City this weekend, and Holly arrived in NYC earlier this week.  While they are in New York  we have them working with the team at our partner Fusion Model Management.  Their time in New York will be filled with test shoots, castings, and hopefully they will gain enough momentum to book some jobs while they are there.  Good luck to both of you and we are excited to see what comes out of your time in the Big Apple!

Madison Moehling for Drop Magazine

Do you all remember our model Madison Moehling?  She is one of our newer faces, originally from Minnesota but has been in New York for the past few months working with our partner Fusion Model Management.  These photos are from her latest editorial that ran in Drop Magazine.  Helen Eriksson photographed the shoot, and it was styled by Alison Mazur.  Madison, this editorial looks amazing and we love that we got a rare smiling shot.  It's nice to see your infectious personality shining through!

Lately the state of Minnesota has been good to us.  We found the incomparable Liz Kennedy there, Hazel Eakman is from there, and now we have Madison from there as well.  Madison is currently working in New York City under the amazing team at Fusion and we are obsessed with the pictures we keep seeing from her shoots.  Keep up the good work Madison, we have a feeling you are going to be seeing less and less of your native Minnesota if you keep shooting pictures like this!

Pulse Management Girls on the Go!

This is definitely turning out to be a hot summer for some of our models!  We posted about Andrea Steele in New York a few weeks ago, and now she is headed off to Tokyo.  She has a contract there and we can't wait to see the work she does during her trip.  We have sent many of our models to Tokyo including Ashland, Liz, and Olivia and it has been a pivotal place for each of their careers.  Good luck Andrea, we are so excited for you!

Yesterday we posted about one of our new models, Mia.  Keep in mind she just did her first test shoot last week.  Things are moving fast for this beauty because within a week's time she and her mom are headed out to Miami where we saw a lot of interest for her.  Sometimes things move quickly for a model, and sometimes it takes a little bit of time to gain some momentum.  In Mia's case she waited five years to do her test shoot, but now that we finally got some professional pictures of her things are moving quickly.  Have fun in Miami ladies, hopefully you get a little time on the beach in between castings and photoshoots!

New Videos of One of Our New Faces

Man oh man we find the most amazing girls in Minnesota.  First we found our superstar Liz Kennedy there, and next up we have the stunning Hazel Eakman.  Hazel did a test shoot with Dolls a few months ago, and she is currently in NYC working with our partner Fusion Model Management.  She recently shot these videos with Shane Suban, and they are simply perfect.  We are looking forward to seeing great things from Hazel, and we can't wait make it happen!

Stacey and Shayna Eastman are wrapping up a whirlwind weekend in New York City where we had our latest Dolls Test Shoot.  We moved the Dolls Shoots to New York City a few months ago and so far we are loving meeting our new models in NYC.  Being in New York also is beneficial because we can meet up with our models that are working in the city, and we can meet up with our partners at Fusion.  This weekend was filled with a lot of work, a lot of laughs, and left us all feeling excited about some of the new faces we signed!

Olivia is Back in NYC

Look out New York City, because our girl Olivia Hamilton is back and she is looking better than ever!  After spending a little bit of time at home and catching up on her school work, she is back in the city that is practically becoming her second home.  We love seeing pictures of her, seemingly in her element in New York.  It is always reassuring to us when we see our models becoming comfortable with their surroundings in New York, because the fashion market there is crucial.  Also, looking at these pictures we can't help but think that if Olivia is looking this good in her instagram snaps, her photoshoots are going to be out of this world!

Look Out New York!

New York City, consider yourself warned, we have a new crop of models taking over the town! Pulse Management's Georgia Weeks, Kristina Jordan, Hazel Eakman, and Andrea Steele have arrived in NYC and have hit the ground running.  Each of these models were discovered in their hometowns, and are now learning the ropes with the guidance of our partner Fusion Model Management.  These four are navigating the city, going to castings, and getting a little sightseeing in on the side.

We have posted about this before, but we can't say enough how much we love when our models become friends with each other.  Yes, the modeling industry is a competitive one, which is even more of a reason that each of our models need each other as friends.  It is important to have someone who can relate to this crazy world, and understands the ups and downs that comes along with being a model.

Georgia, Kristina, Hazel, and Andrea we love seeing you all together, and we can't wait to see what you all have ahead in your respective careers.  Thank you for trusting us, and being a part of the Pulse Management Team!

Fusion Show Fall/Winter 2015 Show Package

Happy Friday everyone! Yesterday we posted about the beginning of New York Fashion Week, and we are so excited to see what runways our models will be walking down.  Most of our models that we have in New York City, are placed with our partner Fusion Model Management.  Fusion released it's Show Package, and as usual it did not disappoint.  We love the clean shots of the models, and we especially love that two of our girls are prominently featured in it.  Below you can see both Liz Kennedy and Olivia Hamilton's card's for the Fall/Winter 2015 season. The time has come! Polaroids of Olivia Hamilton

We have been posting frequently lately about model Polaroids, but they are so important!  If you still don't know why Polaroids are important to a model's career click HERE.  Here is a recent set of Polaroids we received from Olivia Hamilton.  Olivia is busy working in New York, and she shot these for our partner agency, Fusion out there.  These are a perfect example of how Polaroids should look.  Minimal make up, swimsuit or basic skinny jeans and top, and a plain-walled background.  So, if you need to submit polaroids anytime soon, feel free to follow Olivia's lead in these beauties!
