MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Liz Kennedy for Dolce and Gabbana

The other day, our model Liz Kennedy, posted an airport selfie where she mentioned she was Italy bound with "poofy" hair, that I'm assuming is leftover from a photoshoot. The airport coif-caused embarrassment was worth it though, because in Italy she walked in the latest Dolce and Gabbana Haute Couture show in Milan. For those of you keeping track this is the second time Liz has walked a runway for Dolce and Gabbana and we are beside ourselves with excitement! Congrats Liz, this is a huge accomplishment and we couldn't be more proud of you.

Recap of Sophia Skloss in the European Shows

Fresh off of a whirlwind New York Fashion Week (that we posted about here), our model Sophia Skloss hopped on a plane to Europe to be in the shows there too.  Here is a recap of the shows that Sophia walked in while she was in Europe.  Also, please keep in mind that these fashion shows are the top designers in Europe, and there are no bigger runway shows than those during the show season in New York, London, Milan, and Paris.  So each picture and show listed here is a major accomplishment for any model, let alone one model! (Each link with the designer name will take you directly to the writeup and photos of the show from Vogue.com)

Olivia for Isola Marras F/W 2015

As summer hits us, I decided that I am going to use Olivia Hamilton's fresh-faced look from the Isola Marras fashion show as beauty inspiration.  Olivia's picture from this show has been posted in multiple places as a close up look of her hair and make up and we can see why, she is flawless! This fashion show was in February during Milan Fashion Week.  This runway set was one of the more creative ones I saw over Fashion Week, and we think that Olivia looks like a seasoned pro walking down it.

MFW: Liz Kennedy for Les Copains

I was just looking through some pictures on style.com for some fashion inspiration and look who I stumbled upon,  our model, Liz Kennedy, in the Les Copains Fall 2015 Ready to Wear fashion show.  The show took place in Milan in February during Milan Fashion Week, the same week she walked the runway for Dolce and Gabbana.  Right now Liz is back in Minnesota enjoying some time with her family and friends.  I hope she's resting up because as soon as the fashion world gets done with their vacations Liz is going to be a very busy model again.

MFW: Olivia for Ter et Bantine

We are looking at photos from Milan Fashion Week, and we keep coming back to this beauty of Olivia Hamilton in the Ter et Bantine Show.  This show was a big one at Milan Fashion Week because it was the first time designer Kostas Murkudis was at the helm of the brand.  Murkudis has worked with Balenciaga, Helmut Lang, and Pringle, but this was his debut being at the head of the label, and the show and collection were amazing. This dress that our Olivia wore down the runway, looks almost fluid-like on her beautiful ballerina frame.  We love seeing our models on the runway, especially when they are as highly anticipated as this one.

MFW: Olivia for Hogan

Olivia Hamilton is exceeding all expectations we had for her debut fashion week.  She conquered New York, London, and now she is making us proud in Milan.  These pictures are from the Hogan Women's Fall/Winter 2015 Presentation.  We especially love the backstage selfie!  Olivia, you look amazing (as usual), and you are representing Pulse so well. We can't wait to see what she books next.

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Liz for Dolce and Gabbana

The entire fashion world is talking about Dolce and Gabbana's ode to motherhood at their Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear fashion show in Milan.  The designers were not only inspired by motherhood, in the finale they had some of their models who are mothers walk the runways with their offspring in tow.  It was truly a beautiful and unprecedented moment in fashion history.  Our very own Liz Kennedy walked the Dolce and Gabbana runway, and we are proud of her not only for booking such a major designer's show during Milan Fashion Week, but for being a part of a show that embraced such an amazing part of womanhood. If you could see me writing this, you would also see me giving this show a standing ovation from our living room.

Big Things Ahead for Armon

Pulse Management's Armon Eastman, son of Owner Stacey Eastman, continues to exceed even his dad's expectations.  He leaves for Europe in a little more than a week to meet with Burberry in London, and then Prada in Milan. Those are huge companies to meet with for any model, but for a male model just starting his career, this is quite a feat! Wishing you lots of luck Armon, and we can't wait to see how your trip goes.
