MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Prepping for NYFW

Today's MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY is a little bit different than our usual ones because we are posting about something that is about to happen.  In just a week, New York Fashion Week will be upon us, and this year is going to be one of Pulse Management's biggest years ever, if not the biggest  year we've had.  These pictures are from Liz Kennedy, Olivia Hamilton, Alisha Judge, Anna Fisher, Charlee Pilon, and Viktoria Liens' test shoots for NYFW.  If these pictures are any indicators, and we think they are, these girls are going to be some of the most sought after models this season.  This fashion week is going to be MAJOR for these models and for us, and we can't wait to see what transpires.  Stay tuned everyone, we already know of some things happening that you will love, but we can't share them with you just yet.  We will as soon as we can though, we promise!

One of the things that stays the same in the modeling industry, is that things are constantly changing.  Pulse Mgmt models Charlee Pilon and Anna Fisher got a taste of that first hand when both of them were asked to change their blonde hair to a darker shade.  Luckily these girls handled the changes like a pair of pros, updated their 'dos and snapped a few pics to show off their new looks.  Both of them are still working in NYC, and we can't wait to see some professional shots of them with their new hair colors.

In honor of Independence Day today, we think it's only appropriate to share with you some of our favorite patriotically themed pictures. Whether its draped around Pulse Management Discovery, Autumn's shoulders, providing a perfect backdrop for Aaron Jessee's amazing hair, or an electric version in Times Square with Aaron, Olivia Hamilton, Liz Kennedy and Anna Fisher, we think the American flag is one of the most powerful symbols out there.  We are thankful to be living and working in this great country.  We hope you all have a happy and safe Fourth of July today!

When Aaron Jessee signed with Pulse Management Action Sports, he probably had no idea what he had in store.  On his recent trip to New York City, with Pulse Management President, Stacey Eastman, Aaron had meetings, test shoots, and a little fun while doing it all.  Aaron is a surfer first and foremost, but we are pursuing a fashion/action sports hybrid career for him so he can support himself and his surfing!  Needless to say our clients loved Aaron, and his awesome hair, and we have a feeling there are a lot of great things in store for this San Clemente, CA native, especially after we saw the pics from one of his test shoots.

Anna Fisher Arrives in NYC

Pulse Management is taking over New York City this week!  Not only is our president, Stacey Eastman, in NYC so many of our models are there right now too.  In the above picture Anna Fisher is saying goodbye to her twin sister Katie, as Anna boarded a flight to NYC.  This is the first time the twins will live apart in their 18 year lives.  Luckily, Stacey was there upon Anna's arrival to help her get acquainted with New York.  First stop was the Fusion (Pulse Mgmt's New York Partner) Office, and then they toured around the city. Also, what trip to NY is complete without a taxi ride, so Stacey sent us a video of him and Anna riding through the crazy streets of NYC. We are so excited to see what happens with Anna on this trip, because this model's potential is out of this world.

Hi Stacey!

Thank you for your AMAZING positive attitude and your incredible unwavering devotion to Anna and Katie!  They want to be be Supermodels and make you proud!!! We appreciate everything you are doing for Anna and Katie and are so happy that you and your family were at Great Wolf Lodge at the same time our family was there over the Christmas holiday in 2010, when you and Shayna discovered the girls!!!  We feel very fortunate to have you managing the girls career. We think you're GREAT and we let everyone know it!!  Keep refering your model moms to talk to us about our experience working with Pulse Management. 

The girls are doing a photo movement workshop at Heffner tomorrow night to work on perfecting their best angles behind the camera, so that they can hit those angles easily when they are modeling.

We hope you are well and look forward to talking to you about your plans for Anna and Katie.  The girls are planning to take on-line high school through Running Start at Bellevue College and Brigham Young University, so that they can be available for modeling jobs and traveling. They both registered at Bellevue College through the high school Running Start program for their junior year starting this September, and plan to take an on-line class this summer through BYU.
