Fashion News Live Interview and Inside Amato Premiere

Last night some members of the Pulse Management team were able to attend the New York City premiere of the movie Inside Amato by Furne One, and the Art Hearts Fashion Week Gala after it.  If you remember we, we partnered with Fashion News Live for fashion week coverage, and hopefully you have been checking out their videos here.

Fashion News Live founder, Rocco Leo Gaglioti, directed the film and we loved being able to see his passion for the industry come through on the screen.  Stacey was invited to do an interview on the red carpet, and as soon as we get the footage we will post it for you all to see.

We spend so much time working on managing and finding out models, it was such a treat to go out for a night with some of our Pulse Management team members, who at this point are pretty much family!

Pulse Management Introduces: Emma Harris

We had a ton of traffic on our blog last week, and we are so excited that so many of you wanted to see more pictures of some of our new faces!  We have a few more to show you, and we are just as excited about the group of pictures we are showing you this week as we were last week.

This stunner is Emma Harris, who we scouted not once but TWICE!  Our scout Lacey saw Emma in Reno, Nevada and spoke to her about modeling with Pulse.  The two months later while Pulse Management President, Stacey Eastman, was at the mall in Boise, Idaho he spotted Emma working at Orange Julius.  We like to think this means destiny played a hand in our signing Emma, and we are so thrilled she is one of our models.

Pulse Management's Mother's Day Tribute

We can't emphasize enough how much we value and appreciate mothers.  Not only in the home but their contributions to society are too big to be measured.  The Pulse Management team is made up of a lot of mothers, and we know how fiercely protective mothers are of their children.  This is why we take our jobs so seriously as model managers, because we know we are dealing with someone else's son or daughter.  Many of our scouts are mothers, along with our Chief Operating Officer, and our Head of Public Relations, and we hope they all had a happy Mother's Day.

We also love and admire our models' moms!  We have seen mothers drop everything, time and time again, to hop on a flight with their child for a photo shoot or runway show.  These mothers are their model's biggest cheerleaders and biggest supporters and we love them for it.

Happy Birthday Lacey!

Yes, it's a friday night, and I am blogging.  Why?  Because we can't let one more second go by without wishing Lacey Hevern a Happy Happy (belated) birthday.  Lacey is currently one of our very best scouts, she has an eye for models that is incomparable.  She started with Pulse as a model, she is currently a scout, but really she is family.  She is beautiful, loving, loyal, and she is as funny as they come.  We love you Lacey, and we can't wait to see what this year has in store for you!

Happy Happy Birthday to the one and only Lacey Hevern.  Lacey is a former Pulse Model and the current Pulse Director of Scouting.  Many of our current and most successful models we found by Lacey, and she has showed no sign of slowing down.  Most recently at Coachella she found us some amazing models, and we can't wait to launch their careers.  There are few people more fun to be around than this birthday girl, and she is one of the most beautiful people we know.  Happy birthday Lacey, you deserve a wonderful year.

Sometimes we say this to the point that it sounds cliche, but we really do feel like our models and our team are a family.  We are counting down the days until our next Dolls Model Management Test Shoot in LA, and we can't wait to see some of our new faces, and get some of our team back together.  As a company we have models and scouts scattered across the country, so when we get together it is such a treat.  We have been looking through these pics from this fall when we got the team and a few models together for meetings and test shoots in Hollywood, and we are getting so excited for our next shoot.

Natalie Keyser, Stacey Eastman, and Lacey were showing Liz Kennedy and her mom the ropes at Liz's very first test shoot.  Currently Liz is in Tokyo on a $25,000 contract.  This girl is going to be a superstar and she was lucky to have Natalie to mentor her while in Hollywood.

We also love seeing our models form friendships together.  Paris Naro, Rachel Cook and Charlee Pilon all became friends in LA, and it served them well when they were booking jobs together. We find it is nice for our models to connect and form friendships with each other because they can relate to each other.  Being a model is exciting, but it has its unique sets of stressors and pressure, and it is comforting for our models to have each other to talk about what is going on.  We are so looking forward to our next Hollywood shoot in just a few weeks!

#pulsemgmtholidays: Some of Our Favorites

We absolutely loved seeing everyone's pictures on instagram under the #pulsemgmtholidays.  It was such a treat getting to see our models with their families and sharing their holiday pictures with us.  We think this will have to be an annual thing for us at Pulse, because we love seeing our models in their homes with their nearest and dearest.  This was the closest thing that we could get to spending the holidays with all of you.  While we can't post every picture that was posted, here are a few.  If you want to see all of them, check them out on Instagram.  (Also, are you following us yet on Instagram? Pulse Management has been the best working opportunity ever! I get to travel to places I would have never gone on my own, like corn fields in Nebraska, and Red Rocks in Denver. I have met so many amazing girls and families along the way and have had the chance to see how their lives change in so many good ways. It has been great getting to know people from different backgrounds of life and see how they handle the opportunity. As far as Stacey Eastman, he has been such an amazing manager. I see how he really cares about our girls, and their well being before their success. He has such a great family of his own and cares about the families of the girls that we represent. He has been there for me in ways that go above and beyond what normal boss would.. Helping me out and supporting me when I have had to make some hard life choices, even if he was not getting the better end of the deal with the outcome. He has become family to me. I have been able to see my girls walk down runways in New York, ride a cruise ship to Cabo, intern with NYC photographers that would not have given me the time of day, get up to the front row of my favorite band Incubus and drool over Brandon Boyd, and get nailed in the head by the skateboard of Bucky Lasek all because of the opportunity I have had in this job. Thanks Stacey for having faith in me, being patient with me and investing your time and money in me as a scout. You and your family a so dear to me and I will be loyal and work hard as long as I'm am with you....which i hope is forever as long as you stop taking such big risks on those boards dang it!
