Our girl Honolua Blomfield placed 2nd in the Pro-Division at the Duke's Waikiki Kane/Wahine Longboard Pro/Am. The contest was a part of the annual Duke's Ocean Fest in Waikiki. Hono placing second in the Pro division is huge, and we are so proud! It must have been extra exciting for Hono to do so well in this competition because it is on her home island. Congrats Honolua, it is great to see your hard work paying off!
As everyone else is getting settled after the holiday weekend most of us are facing the colder temperatures and harsh weather of winter. Not Pulse Management Action Sports' team member Aaron Jessee though. Aaron is living the good life in Hawaii surfing and skating to his heart's content. Aaron also gets to do cool things like this and this. I guess the moral of this story is that its a good day to be Aaron Jessee, especially in the winter!
Hey everyone, you remember Matt Chase, right? He is on our Pulse Management Action Sports team, and basically he rides like no one you've ever seen before. Matt is one of the 20 snowboarders up for the wildcard spot at the 2014 Burton Rail Days competition in Tokyo, Japan. Below is a video of the event from last year. This year they are expecting more than 4,000 fans to be there to watch 17 of the world's best street snowboarders, and we want Matt to be one of them!
In order to win the wildcard spot Matt needs your vote! He has already made it to the final round of voting, which is huge, but we need to get Matt to this event. It is only appropriate that today's Throwback Thursday post is a picture of a baby on the beach. Pulse Management's Honolua Blomfield is a native Hawaiian who basically grew up on the beach. She was a beautiful beach baby, and now she is an incredible surfer who is killing it on the competitive surfing circuit. We love seeing pictures of our Pulse Management family from before we knew them, and sweet Honolua's picture is no different! With all the Fashion Week madness going on, we almost forgot about how snowboarding season is rapidly approaching. Ok, I can't even handle this week's TBT. Is Aaron Jessee's curly hair and big smile not one of the cutest things you've ever seen? The only thing that could make Aaron's throwback picture better would be seeing that little guy on his surfboard. We love posting these weekly throw backs of our models and athletes, and hope that you are enjoying seeing these pictures of them too. When Aaron Jessee signed with Pulse Management Action Sports, he probably had no idea what he had in store. On his recent trip to New York City, with Pulse Management President, Stacey Eastman, Aaron had meetings, test shoots, and a little fun while doing it all. Aaron is a surfer first and foremost, but we are pursuing a fashion/action sports hybrid career for him so he can support himself and his surfing! Needless to say our clients loved Aaron, and his awesome hair, and we have a feeling there are a lot of great things in store for this San Clemente, CA native, especially after we saw the pics from one of his test shoots.

Today's Major Moment Monday is a little bit different than our usual posts because it is in the process of happening right at this very moment! Pulse Mgmt President, Stacey Eastman, and Aaron Jessee just landed in New York City and are about to make some Action Sports meets Fashion History, so get ready everyone, because its going to be MAJOR.

Last week we got a few of our action sports athletes together with some of our Pulse Mgmt team, for a photo/video shoot. While we don't have the final products ready for you yet, I thought you might like to see this sneak peek of our boy Nate, longboarding... ON HIS HANDS. Also in the video you can see Cole Evans filming next to him. We can't wait to see how Cole puts together all of the footage. We also had the uber-talented photographer, Ramsey Mead, along to capture some still shots of the shoot. Seriously you guys, it doesn't take much to make Nate look cool, but with this team we are going to have some amazing stuff to show you. Stay tuned...
Our Action Sports Division is growing at a rapid pace these days, and we couldn't be happier with the talented athletes we are signing to our team. Today we want you all to meet Nate Provost. Nate lives in Grant's Pass, Oregon, just like Pulse Mgmt President, Stacey Eastman. We have a feeling that most of their meetings will be taking place while long boarding...
Back to Nate, saying he is an amazing skater/longboarder is an understatement. Look at him long boarding on his hands, which he says is one of his favorite things to do, especially for other people. According to Nate he signed with Pulse because, "Stacey is an amazing person, and I want to follow my dream!"

My oh my, these pictures of Matt Chase, our Pulse Management Action Sports snowboarder are just out of this world. Seriously, don't they look like they were shot on another planet? We are already expecting to see big things out of Matt, but then we see pics like this and he totally ups the ante. Keep up the good work Matt, we are stoked about what you have ahead.
Pulse Management Action Sports star, Christian Sereika, is soon to be another kind of star as well! He just finished shooting an episode of ABC's hit show Castle. He is lamenting the fact that they made him cut his hair, but it was all totally worth it to be on such a popular show. Way to go Christian, maybe you and Armon will start in a feature film together soon. Just in case you forgot what Christian is known for (you know, besides his acting...) check out the pic below.
Hello everyone! We have been so busy with the model search, we have missed blogging for you guys about all of the other exciting happenings at Pulse Management. First things first, do you all know Shelby King yet? She will probably be a household name soon, so its good that you are getting acquainted. Shelby is one of the best wakeboarders we have ever seen, and wakeboarding is one of our favorite things, so we have seen a ton of them. Not only does she kill it on her wakeboard, she looks amazing while doing it. We definitely envision this girl going the route of our surfer/model Aaron Jessee. We don't think we'll be able to keep our fashion friends at bay for this girl.
Pulse Mgmt Action Sports rising star, Matt Chase, killed it in Mammoth Mountain last week. He competed in the US Revolution Tour and took 2nd place, behind Brandon Davis (the Olympic alternate). Check out the current tour standings here. Matt, you stomped those landings, and made it look easy. We can't wait to see what you do next!
This video of Pulse Management Action Sports Star, Matt Chase, hit 10,000 views in three short weeks. Watch it and you will quickly understand why! We were a little disappointed with the snowboarding in the Olympics (the conditions didn't help anything), but then we watched this video of Matt and it reminded us of why we love the sport so much. Snowboarding is just so fun to watch, especially with riders like Matt! He is a Minnesota native, and we couldn't be more excited to have him as a part of our team.
