Pulse Management's Mother's Day Tribute

We can't emphasize enough how much we value and appreciate mothers.  Not only in the home but their contributions to society are too big to be measured.  The Pulse Management team is made up of a lot of mothers, and we know how fiercely protective mothers are of their children.  This is why we take our jobs so seriously as model managers, because we know we are dealing with someone else's son or daughter.  Many of our scouts are mothers, along with our Chief Operating Officer, and our Head of Public Relations, and we hope they all had a happy Mother's Day.

We also love and admire our models' moms!  We have seen mothers drop everything, time and time again, to hop on a flight with their child for a photo shoot or runway show.  These mothers are their model's biggest cheerleaders and biggest supporters and we love them for it.

We're All About Larisa!

In case you missed it, having a lifestyle blog is the thing to do, with Gwenyth Paltrow, Blake Lively, and Reese Witherspoon all launching their own sites.  We have to say that our model Larisa Fraser Braun's blog is our current favorite. She has a ton of healthy recipes, that are also not only delicious but they look beautiful too!  She also includes tips for clean eating and glimpses into her lovely life with her MLB star husband and sweet baby girl.  We think we are going to make THIS POST our new mantra for eating, and we need to start referring our models to it as well.  We love that Larisa is not necessarily about the numbers on the scale, but how to eat well to feel and look great.  That's our kind of girl.

We are so proud of Larisa, who we discovered in Utah, and then launched her modeling career.  She is an amazing mother and and incredible person who we are blessed to know and love.

Some models that we sign end up becoming like family to us, and Larisa Fraser is definitely one of the family.  We signed her after discovering her in her home town in Utah, and have been managing her career ever since.  We have seen her through her beginning test shoot, sending her around the world, celebrating her GQ cover, attending her wedding to MLB All-Star Ryan Braun, and now we get to see her as a mother.  We are thrilled for Larisa and Ryan to enter into the world of parenthood, and we are sure they daughter will be gorgeous just like her mama! Congrats to them both, and we look forward to meeting your sweet baby girl!

As we mentioned in our post yesterday, the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show airs tonight on CBS. We have had two of our models work with Victoria's Secret in the past as we detailed in this post.  We aren't satisfied with just having two models work with them, we want more! Just off the top of our heads here are a few of our models that we think could walk the runway alongside the best of the Angels.  So, just in case the VS casting director is reading this, we present the following models for your consideration for next year.

Life Imitating Art with Larisa Fraser

Larisa Fraser, a Pulse Management discovery, and one of our more successful models tied the knot with MLB all-star Ryan Braun.  Pulse Mgmt President Stacey Eastman and his wife, (Pulse Mgmt COO) Shayna Eastman attended the wedding last month to celebrate with Larisa and her new husband.

When we found Larisa she was a teenager from Alpine, Utah.  We have been managing her since then, and now consider her a part of our family.  It is crazy to think that had we never scouted her, she  might not have pursued modeling, and may have never had the opportunity to meet her future husband.  We love that we are able to literally change our models lives, and it was really special for us to be able to celebrate with Larisa and Ryan on their special day.  The fact that we were celebrating in their gorgeous home in Malibu, definitely didn't hurt!

As you can see, Larisa was a stunning bride, which was no surprise to anyone.  She had a lot of practice being a bride, when she did this campaign for bridal designer Maggie Sotero.

Throwback Thursday: GQ Edition

In honor of throwing it back, we thought we would share a picture of Pulse Management superstar, Larisa Fraser.  We found this beauty in Utah, and a few years later she was on the cover of GQ.  A non-actress model, solo on the cover of on of the biggest magazines in publication! In addition to her work in front of the camera, she has completed cooking school, is planning a wedding to MLB superstar, Ryan Braun, and she blogs at Model Eats Blog.  It is a must read for all those who wants to eat delicious food that is also good for you. Larisa we are so proud of everything you have accomplished and we can't wait to see what else you will do in the future.

Larisa wrote this to potential models:

Pulse management is the entire reason i began modeling and modeling has completely changed me and my life. I can't imagine growing more in University than the amount i have grown in the last 3 years. I feel completely empowered by all of the doors that have opened because of my initial decision to trust Stacey. 

I have worked for Nordstrom, Macy's, GQ, SELF Magazine, Womens Health, Triumph, Kodak, and shot with Russel James (VS Photographer). I've traveled to more countries than i can count, met an insane amount of influential & successful people that i have learned so many things about business and life in general. I live an incredible life and each time i reflect on all of the journey that i have been on i always come back to the same conclusion which is that WITHOUT Stacey... i would not have had the ability to get to the position that i am in today. 

For all of you girls that have no idea what you are stepping into- you have to know that modeling is HARD and throughout the tears and the frustrations that you will inevitably experience Stacey Eastman will ALWAYS be there for you... just like they were and will continue to be, for me.
