Major Moment Monday: Sophie Skloss for Burberry

The other day I was doing a little online browsing and who did I see on the front of the Women's clothing section of the Burberry website? Our very own Sophia Skloss!  You may remember when Sophia walked in Burberry's runway show, we posted about it here. I'm not surprised that Sophia's photo is up so prominently on their site, look at how beautiful she looks draped in that poncho (which by the way is to die for!).  This may be old news to Sophia, but we think when you are on the website of a designer as iconic as Burberry, it is pretty MAJOR!

Remember when we teased you with this post about Sophia Skloss heading to meet a major designer in London?  Well the secret is out now, she went to meet with Burberry.  Her meeting with Burberry led to these pictures on their website and twitter, and Sophia walking exclusively in their London Fashion Week show a few weeks ago (as we posted here).  It feels so good to finally be able to tell you all about these exciting events, because we've been dying to brag about them!

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Liz and Sophia Living the Dream!

Hopefully you all saw our posts about Liz Kennedy walking the Dolce and Gabbana runway, and Sophia Skloss in the Burberry show?  Not only are these models walking the biggest runways in the world wearing the designers' latest lines, they are also getting gifts from the designers.  Liz Kennedy's Dolce and Gabbana handbag is sure to be the envy of everyone who sees it!  Sophia Skloss was not only cast exclusively for Burberry's London Fashion week show, they gifted her a scarf with her initials embroidered on it.  Keep in mind these are regular teenage girls we scouted in their hometowns, and now they are walking for and wearing the latest designers from around the world!

Happy Monday everyone!  Remember when we posted THIS about Sophia Skloss headed to London?  Well we can now reveal that she was headed there to meet with people at Burberry, which is one of the biggest fashion brands in the world.  The folks at Burberry loved our Sophia and she just walked in their Fall 2015 fashion show during London Fashion Week.  We are beside ourselves with excitement for Sophia, and think that this definitely qualifies as Major Moment Monday worthy!

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Hye Park's Incredible Fashion Week

Today's Major Moment Monday is from the Spring 2007 Fashion Shows.  Pulse Management discovery Hye Rim Park, put some major mileage on her stilettos walking down the runways.  She dominated the tents in New York and then went on to walk in the major shows in London, Milan, and Paris.  As you scroll through these photos you will see that she made an appearance in almost all of the top designers shows, and proved that your show wasn't a major one if you didn't have Hye walking down your runway.  Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Karl Lagerfeld, Rodarte, Louis Vuitton, and Oscar De La Renta are just a few of the runways she walked down.  If you consider the fact that these shows are within an hour of each other sometimes, you can start to imagine exactly how busy Hye was during these fashion weeks.  It's no wonder Andre Leon Talley said that Hye was his favorite model, he had plenty of times to see her working to solidify that opinion.

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Hannah Holman for Burberry

We love the above picture of Hannah Holman when she spotted one of her Burberry ads while riding the Metro in London.  It goes to show you that no matter how long these girls have been modeling, they still get excited when they see their work.  These images are from when Hannah starred in Burberry's S/S 2010 Blue Label advertising campaign.  Burberry is arguably the most iconic fashion label to come out of London, and we were thrilled when Hannah was cast in their campaign.  It is amazing to think that Hannah, who we discovered in a small town in Utah, went on to star in a huge British Label's campaign.  It was definitely major, to say the least.

Big Things Ahead for Armon

Pulse Management's Armon Eastman, son of Owner Stacey Eastman, continues to exceed even his dad's expectations.  He leaves for Europe in a little more than a week to meet with Burberry in London, and then Prada in Milan. Those are huge companies to meet with for any model, but for a male model just starting his career, this is quite a feat! Wishing you lots of luck Armon, and we can't wait to see how your trip goes.

Armon Eastman is making big waves on his first venture in Manhattan. He met with multiple clients and been to various castings, including a test shoot with Burberry of London.  He also has received a "Request to See" from the iconic photographer, Steven Meisel.  Good Luck Armon, way to make Pulse Management (not to mention your dad, Stacey Eastman, Pulse CEO and Founder) proud!
