We hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season. As we reflect on this year we can't help but feel very grateful for everything we have experienced, and more importantly for all of you. Whether you are a colleague, one of our models, the family members of our models, potential models, or friends of ours through social media, we are grateful for all of you. Tomorrow we will be celebrating Christmas with our families, and we hope that no matter what holiday you are celebrating your season has been filled with love and light.

Bree Hannemann's Trip of a Lifetime

Pulse Management model and scout, Bree Hannemann is currently on a trip most people only dream about.  Keep in mind she already lives (with her darling family) in Hawaii, but now she is on a trip for the next six months where they will visit about 10 countries.  We are loving following along with her journey on her instagram, she is currently in Tonga.  Feel free to follow along for more beautiful pictures (she's also a photographer), and updates on her adventures.  Bree, don't forget to scout us some supermodels while you are traveling the world's best beaches!

Our New Star is Stacey!

You all have seen our posts about our models, but it looks like Pulse Management President, Stacey Eastman, is one of our newest superstars!  These pictures are from when he attended the premiere of Inside Amato by Furne One, during fashion week.  We posted about the premiere here, just in case you missed it.  Now we have to get our hands on the video of Stacey's red carpet interview, and you better believe when we do we will post it for you all to see.

We were honored to attend the premiere and support Fashion News Live's Rocco Leo Gaglioti as he screened his film.  We are continually impressed by the red carpet and backstage coverage that Fashion News Live produces, and if you haven't seen it make sure to check it out here.

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Sophia Skloss for Delpozo

Last week while some of the Pulse Management crew was in New York City for Fashion Week, we  had the pleasure to watch our model Sophia Skloss in the Delpozo Spring 2016 Ready-to-wear show. We went to dinner with Sophia and her mom Karin, the night before the show and she was telling us all about how chaotic fashion week had been, but also about how much she was loving it.

It was such a treat getting to watch Sophia walk the runway, especially at a show as beautiful as this one.  One of the things I loved the most about watching this particular show, is that the hair and makeup wasn't over the top, it just allowed the models to look like themselves.  (My front row seat (!!!) also helped me see all of the details of the clothing, bags, and shoes that may have been harder to catch by viewing the pictures online later)

While we were waiting for the show to start we had the opportunity to chat with Sophia's mom, and I have to say how impressed I was with both her and Sophia.  She mentioned that as parents, she and Sophia's dad prioritize Sophia's education and her grades.  When she wanted to go to this NYFW, her dad said she would only be able to go if her grades were at a certain level. So Sophia worked hard and got her grades where they needed to be so she would be able to walk in the shows.  Sometimes being a model looks glamorous (which it can be), but there is also a lot of work that goes into it, including keeping up with your school work, and it shows a lot about Sophia that she is willing to put in the work so she can continue with her career.

Sophia is currently in London walking the runways for London Fashion week, and we will keep you updated on all of her exciting bookings there. In the meantime enjoy these photos and videos that will give you a behind the scenes and up close look at this amazingly beautiful fashion show.

Fashion News Live Interview and Inside Amato Premiere

Last night some members of the Pulse Management team were able to attend the New York City premiere of the movie Inside Amato by Furne One, and the Art Hearts Fashion Week Gala after it.  If you remember we, we partnered with Fashion News Live for fashion week coverage, and hopefully you have been checking out their videos here.

Fashion News Live founder, Rocco Leo Gaglioti, directed the film and we loved being able to see his passion for the industry come through on the screen.  Stacey was invited to do an interview on the red carpet, and as soon as we get the footage we will post it for you all to see.

We spend so much time working on managing and finding out models, it was such a treat to go out for a night with some of our Pulse Management team members, who at this point are pretty much family!

Happy Birthday Lacey!

Yes, it's a friday night, and I am blogging.  Why?  Because we can't let one more second go by without wishing Lacey Hevern a Happy Happy (belated) birthday.  Lacey is currently one of our very best scouts, she has an eye for models that is incomparable.  She started with Pulse as a model, she is currently a scout, but really she is family.  She is beautiful, loving, loyal, and she is as funny as they come.  We love you Lacey, and we can't wait to see what this year has in store for you!

Hey readers, have you ever read our blog and thought, I want to be a part of THAT?  Now is your chance.  We are looking for new scouts to help us discover the next Pulse Management superstars. Being a scout for us is a pretty sweet gig (if we may say so ourselves).  Basically you get to go to the biggest concerts, festivals and sporting events of your choice, to be on the look out for future models.  You get to choose when you work, where you work, and you work as an independent contractor so taxes don't come out of your paycheck.  You will get paid up to $300 per model that signs with us.

Still not convinced?  There's more. Our top scouts get all expenses paid to travel to fashion shows and events around the world.

Happy Birthday Stacey!

We can't let another minute go by without wish a very happy birthday to Stacey Eastman.  Stacey is the President of Pulse Management, and a friend to everyone he meets.  All of our models look to him for guidance not only in their careers but in their lives as well.  There is no one as passionate, adventurous, and exciting to be around as Stacey is, and we are all so lucky to know and work with him.  He is an exemplary father, friend, mentor, manager, and thrill seeker.  We hope you have a fantastic day Stace, and that your amazing family spoils you!

Throwback Thursday: Guess Who?!

Happy (Throwback) Thursday everyone! Today's TBT picture is Pulse Management model and scout Kayla Pointer.  Kayla was scouted in her hometown of Portland by our scouting director Lacey.  Soon she began scouting for us as well.  We love having her as part of our team, and we love seeing this throwback picture of her as a little girl.  Kayla you have grown up into a beautiful woman, and we are proud to have you as part of Pulse.

Happy (Belated) Birthday to Vikki!

At Pulse Management we know that we would be nothing without our amazing models.  We also know that we wouldn't have our amazing models without our scouts who pound the pavement for us and find some of the most incredible potential supermodels for us.

In all of the summer craziness we missed posting about Vikki's birthday.  Vikki has been scouting for Pulse Management for almost 20 years now, and has discovered some incredible models for us.  Vikki truly is family, and Pulse Management would be an entirely different company if she was not a part of it.  Whether we are making her run through the streets of NYC to catch a showing of The September Issue, or watching her scout Coachella like a hawk Vikki always keeps us on our toes, and we love her for that.  Happy belated birthday Vik, we don't know what we would do without you!

Happy (Belated) Birthday Shayna!

With all of the madness over the holiday weekend, we didn't post about one of the most important days of the year.  Happy birthday to the one and only Shayna Eastman!  She is one of the most beautiful people we know.  Pulse Management would not be where it is today with out this woman, and we are all so grateful for her. Shayna is the COO of Pulse, wife to Stacey, mother of six kids, and she is a friend to all of our models.  As a former model and actress, she can provide the unique perspective of someone who has worked in the industry to our models, and that advice and guidance has proven to be valuable more than we can say! She heads up our Dolls Model Management and Development and it couldn't be in better hands.  She is truly one of a kind, and we are so lucky that she (and Stacey) head up this Pulse Mgmt team.  Happy birthday Shayna, you just keep getting better!

Have You Met Stacey and Shayna Eastman?

I'm sure many of our readers and followers know about the Eastmans, but just in case you don't we have a new video to introduce them to you, and to our potential models (and their parents).  Stacey and Shayna are the husband and wife team that are behind Pulse Management, and they are the reason our models feel like they are part of a family when they join our management company.  When you watch the video it is clear that these two have a genuine affinity for their models, and for the industry in which they work.  Which is probably why the company has been successful!

Don't Act Like You're Not Impressed...

Last week we got a few of our action sports athletes together with some of our Pulse Mgmt team, for a photo/video shoot. While we don't have the final products ready for you yet, I thought you might like to see this sneak peek of our boy Nate, longboarding... ON HIS HANDS.  Also in the video you can see Cole Evans filming next to him. We can't wait to see how Cole puts together all of the footage.  We also had the uber-talented photographer, Ramsey Mead, along to capture some still shots of the shoot.  Seriously you guys, it doesn't take much to make Nate look cool, but with this team we are going to have some amazing stuff to show you.  Stay tuned...

Happy Birthday Lacey!

Happy Happy Birthday to the one and only Lacey Hevern.  Lacey is a former Pulse Model and the current Pulse Director of Scouting.  Many of our current and most successful models we found by Lacey, and she has showed no sign of slowing down.  Most recently at Coachella she found us some amazing models, and we can't wait to launch their careers.  There are few people more fun to be around than this birthday girl, and she is one of the most beautiful people we know.  Happy birthday Lacey, you deserve a wonderful year.

How Do We Do It?

Have you ever wondered how Pulse Management finds models all over the country and then we manage their careers around the world? Well we do it with a team that is all over the United States, and we definitely wouldn't be able to operate without the wonders of modern technology.  Last night we had an online meeting and we had people logging in from Hawaii to Minnesota, with lots of places in between.  The biggest concentration of team members was at Stacey Eastman's home office, and if you look at the computer screen (close up photo below) you can see some of the rest of us on the screen.  Having people all over the place allows us to find potential models everywhere, and where we are not located, we travel to.  We don't want to leave one stone unturned!  It also helps that we have offices in the major fashion capitals of the world, but we will save that for another post!

Have You Met Kayla?

Everyone, we'd like you to meet Kayla, the newest addition to the Pulse Mgmt team.  Kayla is joining us as a model scout, and we are thrilled to have her!  Kayla is from Portland, Oregon and she was introduced to Pulse through our scouting director, Lacey who actually scouted Kayla (and we can see why!).  When I asked Kayla why she wanted to be a scout with Pulse, she said, "Because I love the industry and everything that comes with it. I am very excited to work with all the talented and honest people pulse has to offer."  

She also said that she hopes that she will be able to meet new people through scouting, and she hopes to make people's dreams come true.  This seems like a perfect fit for you Kayla!

COACHELLA Weekend One

What a crazy weekend it was for some of our Pulse Mgmt team.  We hit up THE music festival of the year, Coachella, for its opening weekend.  Our main goal was to search high and low for potential models, and man oh man did we succeed.  We can't wait to share with you the models we sign and develop that we found at Coachella.  Stacey and Shayna, along with super-scouts Vikki and Lacey arrived on Thursday at LAX where they met Lisa (me) for an amazing and entertaining dinner in LA. Whenever we get a few of our team members together, we always have a lot of laughs and this dinner was no exception.  After dinner, Stacey, Shayna, Lacey and Vikki road tripped it out to Palm Desert for a weekend of music and scouting!

 Can you tell we are all like family?  Well Stacey and Shayna technically are family (they are married) but they make the rest of us feel like they are part of the Eastman family.
