Hannah Holman for Anthropologie

We are pretty sure that Hannah Holman's pictures for Anthropologie will get you headed to your nearest store.  Looking through these beautiful pictures not only show our beautiful Hannah, but they are gorgeously styled in a outdoor wonderland.  We usually are drawn to more simple photos, but there is something special about the gorgeous background of these pictures that seem almost like they are from a make-believe land.

Hannah looks as stunning as ever, and she was probably right at home near the reindeer.  When we discovered her she was from a small town in Utah, and grew up around a lot of animals.  When she shot the Marc Jacobs' Daisy campaign she mentioned that she loved being on the horse, because it reminded her of home.  She has come a long way in her career and we love that she is showing no signs of slowing down.

Pulse Mgmt Loves Bree!

Bree and her son Sylver

You all may remember when we introduced your to Bree Hannemann, one of our models and a member of the Pulse Mgmt team? Bree entered our online model search last year and has been an important part of Pulse ever since.  She lives in Hawaii and she is a scout, model, and photographer for us out there. No matter what she is doing, it always turns out incredibly, and she never ceases to amaze us with her talents. (Not to mention she is the mama to the cutest little guy on the North Shore!)

I asked Bree to answer a few questions about herself, to share with all of you where she got started and what she is up to now.
WHERE IT BEGAN: started modeling when i was 16 years old. I was a model for a runway show for upcoming fashion designers. My fashion stylist ended up winning the show with the clothing that i was wearing. (i thought i was so cool and famous.)
then i joined an egency in la until the end of highschool. went to byu for my first year of college and ACUALLY went to a pulse open call and got a call back, but wasn't able to get a portfolio with them at the time. i then transferred to hawaii shortly after.

HAWAII: moved to hawaii not knowing anyone, or what i was even doing. started going to school at byuh. met SEEK (now my husband) about a month into being out there at his families restaurant. Seek and his brothers moved to hawaii when they were young teenagers (there are 7 of them) and once they were done with high school the boys and their dad wanted to figure out a way to stay in hawaii and make a living. they decided to open up "kahuku grill". three years later they opened up "seven brothers" and then once year later they opened up a "seven brothers truck" right across the street from the famous SUNSET BEACH on the north shore. my husband runs Seven brothers and his two other brothers run Kahuku Grill and the Truck. the boys love every minute of it and cant wait to open up more and maybe even bring it to the mainland! a year into seek and i being married we had our son Sylver Monatua le atua Hannemann (samoan). it means sylver remembers the lord. (seeks is Seek Fa Ale Atua Hannemann which means "seek the things of god".

HOW I GOT BACK IN CONTACT W/ PULSE: A friend of mine told me to enter the the first online model search. i did. i lost, but it was a blessing in disguise because through that i was able to start working on the business side of pulse and start scouting and doing photography for their upcoming models out here on the island of hawaii.

I have always been into photography but took a serious interest in it once i got married to seek. he loves making short clip videos or out trips, adventures, and the restaurants. so he bought a nice camera and with that i was really able to start getting   some quality pictures. my dream is to be the lead photographer of a children's line like GAP, or CHANEL, ect. Although I have enjoyed taking pictures for pulse of the older models as well. there is a different beauty and light to it, but it is all the best thing in the world to me. nothing better than creating something beautiful and letting the world see it. I have developed a deep passion for photography and plan on doing it until i reach my dream of working for big name companies. stacey eastman has been a great mentor to me, and has really put himself out there to help me when he really has no reason to. he has so much going on with Pulse and his family that it means a lot that he is willing to get my started and help me reach my dreams. i look forward to an amazing future with Pulse.
Bree, Seek and Sylver Hannemann

Pulse Management President, Stacey Eastman, loves Hawaii and is working towards expanding the company into the islands.  He sees Bree as an integral part of the Hawaiian operations. He said the following about Bree, "WE WILL HAVE BREE BE A SCOUT AND PHOTOGRAPHER AND SOON AS WE GROW OPERATIONS WITHIN THE HAWAIIAN MARKET, SHE WILL

BECOME A PARTNER TO FACILITATE WORKING IN THE ASIAN MARKET AND WORKING WITHIN THE ACTION SPORTS BRAND AND DEVELOPMENT BOARD."

Below are some of Bree's latest photography and modeling projects, and to see more you can check out her website HERE.

Liz Kennedy's Polaroids

We ask our models for updated polaroids all the time.  In fact we wrote THIS POST about models and polaroids, and if you didn't read it, it is definitely worth clicking and reading.  Periodically we will post some of the polaroids we receive, so you all can see what they look like.  These pictures are of Liz Kennedy, one of our most promising models, and with one glance at these pictures you can see why!  What makes these polaroids so successful (besides Liz) is the simplicity of them.  The makeup, clothing, background, and photography are all very basic, which is exactly how a polaroid should be.  So the next time you are asked to provide polaroids feel free to use these as inspiration, because they are practically perfect.

Then and Now: Meagan Lee

Meagan's first comp card from her Test Shoot with us

With Christmas and New Years Day both falling on Thursdays, it has been a couple of weeks since we posted a TBT: Then and Now. It is fun to write these posts and see our models when they first started and remember what they were like when we met them.  Its like seeing their career unfold right in front of our eyes, again! Meagan Lee is a hot commodity in Los Angeles, New York and Miami these days, and you can see why.  Usually a model that is successful in Miami, is not in New York and vice versa, because the markets are so different.  Meagan is very unique in the fact that she works in both markets, because she is versatile enough to fit both looks.  We are looking forward to seeing what is up next for Meagan, because with her it really could be anything or anywhere!

Kristina Jordan for Tinsel Tokyo

Do you remember when we introduced you to Kristina Jordan a few weeks ago?  She had her test shoot with Dolls Model Management in the fall, and a shot from it was featured in Tinsel Tokyo magazine.  More recently she booked an editorial with Tinsel Tokyo and we are loving what we are seeing from the shoot.  Anytime we get behind the scenes pictures, we are happy, because we get to share with you all a little bit of what goes on to achieve the pictures you see in magazines.  Rodney Ray photographed the shoot, and sent us a few of these outtakes.  If these are the photos that are not being used, then we can't wait to see the ones that are used in the magazine!

Ashland's Test Shoot and Testimonial

One of our favorite parts about working in model management, is discovering new talent and developing them as models.  We recently had the pleasure of working with Ashland at her Dolls test shoot.  Ashland recently signed with us, and recorded the above video sharing her journey so far, and she says why she decided to sign with us.  Ashland, you and your mom are awesome and we are looking forward to working with you!

Natalie Keyser on Style.com

Today is the first MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY of 2015, and we have a great one for you! Back in July of 2014 Pulse model, Natalie Keyser was featured HERE on Style.com.  If you are not familiar with style.com, let me just say that it is one of the must-see daily online destinations for the fashion industry.  It's a big deal.  For this shoot, Natalie was styled by Lauren Goodman, who has been at the fashion helm for magazines like Domino and the Wall Street Journal.  The whole shoot was pretty major and the fact that it was on Style.com makes it even more so.
