Throwback Thursday: Guess Who?!

We are cracking up over this week's Throwback Thursday picture.  Clearly Pulse Management model Alex Wallace was born to be a model.  Look at her sassy pose from when she was little! No wonder she won our Online Model Search, she has been practicing since childhood.  We love getting glimpses into our models childhoods, before we knew them, and then being able to develop them into these amazing models.  Thanks for sharing your picture with us Alex, it is one of our favorites so far.

Sneak Peek of Alex Wallace in Tinsel Tokyo Magazine

You guys remember Alex Wallace right? She won our online model search.  She had her test shoot a couple months ago, and the photographer who shot her test shoot just used her in a photo shoot for Tinsel Tokyo Magazine.  Rodney Ray, the photographer of the shoot, sent us over a few sneak peeks from his camera, and let's just say we are more than excited to see the final images selected for the editorial! 

Alex sent us over a few pics of her from the shoot, and we are swooning over the wardrobe she got to wear, especially the dress in the bottom picture.  Talk about a major high fashion moment!  When I asked Alex about the shoot she said:

Working with Tinsel Tokyo was amazing! The clothes were magnificent and the people were awesome! It was great working with Rodney again, he's extremely talented and I learned so much, everyone working on the set deserves huge praise. They were all wonderful and so helpful. Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to see the photos in August's issue of Tinsel Tokyo! 

We can't wait to see the editorial when it is published as well! In the meantime enjoy these few pictures we do have.

  

Alex Wallace's Dolls Shoot

When we had our first ever online model search a few months ago, we had no idea what to expect.  We were thrilled when we had so many people enter, and even more so when we chose our winner, Alex Wallace.  This fresh faced 16 year old from Southern California, was everything we hoped our winner would be!  One part of her prize was a test shoot for her portfolio with Pulse Management's sister company, Dolls Model Management.  

Alex's shoot took place in Hollywood over the weekend, and we have only seen a few of the pictures (one is posted above), but they have exceeded our high expectations for this girl. Famed fashion photographer Rodney Ray took Alex's pictures and Seth Dobie from Tinsel Tokyo Magazine was the videographer. We are thrilled that Alex is our winner, because we know that we will be able to do amazing things with this model's career, just wait and see!

Do you all remember Alex? She won our very first online model search, as noted here.  If you follow @nenaandco on instagram, you may have recognized Alex on their posts today and yesterday.  Nena and Co is an amazing brand of bags, clothing, etc. and they are kind of a big deal on Instagram.  We love thinking that all of those Nena followers saw our girl Alex looking amazing modeling their latest bags.

Part of what Alex won in the model search is a portfolio shoot with Dolls Model Management, and it is happening this weekend.  Don't worry we will show you some behind the scenes pics of her shoot next week!

Pulse Mgmt Introduces Bree!

We love Hawaii for so many reasons, but one of them is that it is where our new model Bree lives! Pulse Mgmt is thrilled to represent this beach babe, and we can't wait to see where this journey takes both of us.  Look at these pics, isn't she just the epitome of what a girl at the beach should be? Bree entered our model search earlier this year, and we are thrilled that she did.  Welcome to Pulse Bree, we think you are going to like it with us!

How amazing does she look in this ad for Point Conception Swimwear's Spring 2014 line?  We are thinking we picked the right winner.  We are looking forward to what Alex does next because this is just the beginning!

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Introducing Alex

Today's MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY is a little bit different than our other ones because it is current.  As I'm sure you are aware, we announced the winner of our 1st Online Model Search on Friday, and it is Alex Wallace.  This contest, and Alex winning our contest is pretty major in our eyes! We have compiled a little video to introduce you to Alex and her parents, and believe me, you will be seeing a lot more of this girl!

We have been so pleased with the response we had to our first Online Model Search! We have narrowed the entries down to a handful of finalists.  Over the next couple of days we will have video meetings online with our finalists to help us better choose a winner.  We can't wait to be able to announce our winner to you all on Friday, and get this lucky model's career started!

There are TWO WAYS to enter this online model search, and you only need to choose one of them.  Entries will be accepted from 12:01 am PST on March 10, 2014- 11:59 pm PST on March 16, 2014.

INSTAGRAM: Post a picture of yourself in minimal makeup and full length so we can see your figure (see example below).  Make sure you use the hashtag #pulsemgmtmodelsearch so we can see your photo.  Exact spelling is necessary for your entry.  Also in your photo's comment please include your age and height.

EMAIL: If you do not have instagram, your instagram photos are private, you are not comfortable posting a picture online, or would rather email your photo, please email your photo to scouted@pulsemgmt.com and in the subject line please write, "Pulse Mgmt Model Search".  In the body of your email please include your age and height.

Your photo needs to be an accurate representation of your current physical appearance.  We will be having video calls with our finalists to verify this.  You do not need to be in a swimsuit for your photo, but we do need to be able to see your figure.  Other appropriate clothing options are a skirt and fitted t-shirt, skinny jeans and a tank top, and other items similar.  Pulse Management will only use your photos for this contest, and they will not be used for any other purposes, promotional or otherwise.  If you post your photo publicly on Instagram, we will not have control of other people's access to your photos.  If this concerns you please send your entry to us via our private and secure email.
