Hazel Eakman had quite a week last week during NYFWM 2016. We posted on Friday about her in the Cadet show, and today we have the photos from when she was in the Kenneth Ning show. First of all the hair and makeup could not be more perfect. In fact, Janice Marino (the makeup artist who worked on Hazel for the show) might have don't the most perfect smokey, but not too smokey, eye that I have seen in a long time. Of course the look probably wouldn't look nearly as good on anyone but our stunning Hazel, but that's beside the point. This show was for New York Fashion Week Men, but we think our girl Hazel stole the show!

Hazel Eakman for Cadet
New York Fashion Week: Men's Fall/Winter 16/17 is going on, and our model Hazel Eakman has been busy! She walked in the show for Cadet, who was a CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist last year, so designers don't get more up-and-coming than that. Judging from these photos Hazel held her own among the men on the runway. Walking any runway is can be intimidating, let along walking one during NYFWM. Great work Hazel, we are so proud of you!

Hazel in Columbia!
Our model Hazel Eakman is in New York city right now, in the midst of the blizzard, and wishing she were back in Columbia. Hazel recently booked the advertising campaign for Seven Seven and we loved all of the behind the scenes pics she posted on her instagram while she was in Columbia. To think that last winter Hazel was a high school senior in Minnesota, and this year she lives in New York and was jetting down to Columbia for a job is pretty amazing. (And not just any job, one complete with drone photography!) We are loving taking this adventure with you Hazel, and can't wait to see the final images for this campaign.

Hazel's Living Her Dream
Behind the scenes video from one of Hazel's recent shoots
Yesterday our model Hazel Eakman, posted something on her instagram that made us all kinds of happy. She wrote:
hazelgrayeSometimes I have to blink a few extra times to make sure this dream of a life I'm living is real. So thankful for every opportunity I was given in 2015 and so excited for all the opportunities to come in 2016 🤘🏻😄
@fusionmodelsnyc @pulsemgmtWe know when we scout our models, we have the ability and potential to really change the course of their lives. Some of our models end up traveling the world, seeing places and meeting people that they never would have if we never scouted them. We have had a few of our models meet their spouses through their modeling careers, and some of them now have families of their own. It is incredibly rewarding to help people live their dreams, and we absolutely love doing it.Hazel, when we scouted you in Minnesota, we knew you had so much potential. We have loved seeing you develop as a model and a person during your time in New York City, and we know that you still have many great things ahead both in your modeling career and in your life.

Hazel Eakman's Star Wars Inspired Makeup for Refinery 29
Refinery 29 teamed up with CoverGirl to share some makeup looks inspired by Star Wars, and our model Hazel Eakman was one of the models for the feature. Last week we posted about Hazel modeling a Star Wars shirt for Macy's, so we weren't exaggerating when we said the force is strong with Hazel. Apparently she is our go-to model for all things Star Wars, and judging by the movie's box office records, being linked to Star Wars: The Force Awakens isn't a bad thing! Once again Hazel looks incredible, and this makeup has us embracing our inner fangirl!

The Force is Strong in This One!
Just in case you missed it (which seems kind of impossible), the latest Star Wars movie opens this weekend. I'm sure seeing Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be on a lot of your to do lists this weekend. The other day when Stacey was flying home from NYC, he saw the Star Wars plane that was carrying many of the cast members to London for the film's premiere. Seriously, this movie is everywhere and it just came out!
Our model, Hazel Eakman, can be seen on the Macy's website modeling this Star Wars tee. Even without seeing her face we think that Hazel looks incredible in this shirt, and we can see why Macy's booked her for this shoot. (She modeled multiple looks, but we think this Star Wars one is the most appropriate for today)

Hazel Eakman for Zak Posen Pre-Fall 2016
Seeing our model Hazel Eakman pop up on our instagram feed is nothing out of the ordinary. Seeing our model Hazel Eakman pop up on our instagram feed in ZAC POSEN's picture is definitely something new and exciting! Hazel was cast in Posen's Pre-fall collection showing, and we loved that all of his million instagram followers saw our model wearing one of his beautiful gowns. Hazel also shared a backstage picture of her hair and makeup look for the showing on her instagram. Congrats Hazel, this was a big deal, and we are excited for you!

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Hazel and Madison for Haunted Mag
Last week we posted this about our models Hazel Eakman and Madison Moehling on the cover of Haunted Mag's latest issue. Its been a week since we saw the cover photo, but the excitement hasn't worn off that two of our models shared their first magazine cover together! Today we have the photos from the accompanying editorial and we can't get enough of them. Also, maybe I need to add all of the clothing from the shoot to my Christmas list, because they styling is off the charts.

Polaroid Round Up
A model's polaroids are every bit as important as her book. The book shows potential clients what you can look like (with wardrobe/hair/makeup) but the polaroids show what you actually do look like. With digital polaroids a model wears minimal makeup, hair is simple, and the wardrobe is basic. We ask models for polaroids for pictures all the time, so we thought it would be helpful to see some of our models' more recent polaroids. Also, looking through these pictures we are in awe of how stunning our models are. We really do have some of the best models in the industry in our Pulse family, and we are so proud!

Madison Moehling and Hazel Eakman COVER Haunted Mag
Well we have to say that December is off to an incredible start! This photo from the COVER of Haunted Mag's Fall 2015 issue is doubly amazing because it features two of our models. Madison Moehling and Hazel Eakman are smoldering in this photo, and it is so exciting that they get to share this cover together. The photo was shot by Ali Daniel Flores, styled by Eduardo Romo, hair by Sheri Pinto, and the makeup was done by Christyna Kay.
A model's first magazine cover is a major feat, and we are so proud of both of our girls for their big moment.

Hazel and Georgia for Open Lab Magazine
Hopefully you saw our post yesterday about Hazel Eakman and Georgia Weeks being sketched for Badly Drawn Models. Today we are showing you the editorial that they were in for Open Lab Magazine, that inspired the sketches.
The editorial is titled "Tomorrow's People", which we think is fitting because the entire group photographed are some of the more promising new faces we've seen in awhile, especially Georgia and Hazel. Annelise Phillips photographed the editorial, and we can see why she has also been published in Vogue Paris.
The only thing better than having one of our models in a great editorial, is having two of them in it! great work Georgia and Hazel!

Badly Drawn Models
Georgia Weeks and Hazel Graye Eakman
Are you all familiar with Badly Drawn Models? Lisbon-based artist, Sean Ryan, has become a pop-culture phenomenon by posting his sketches of models, designers, and other celebrities online. Some of his most popular subjects include Cara Delevingne, Coco Rocha, Karlie Kloss, Jourdan Dunn, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel and the list goes on and on. Basically its now come to the point that being one of his drawings is a sign that you've "made it" in the modeling world. These drawing have been getting a lot of press lately, most notably in the Huffington Post, Elle Magazine, Refinery 29, i-D Magazine and Buzz Feed.
In a collaboration with an editorial in the latest issue of Open Lab Magazine, two of our models got side-by-side sketches by Sean Ryan himself! Georgia Weeks and Hazel Eakman have now joined the club of models that have been immortalized (badly), and we think it's awesome. Their sketches can be found on the Open Lab Instagram.
Ali Stephens, a model we discovered years ago, has also been sketched and is included on the Badly Drawn Models Instagram page. Ali is one of the most successful models we have ever managed, and it doesn't surprise us to see her on this page.
