In Their Own Words: Karsyn and Dean Bartruff

We have posted about our model Karsyn Bartruff a few times lately.  Lucky Karsyn has been traveling around the world for modeling jobs, and is experiencing a lot of exciting successes.  We thought you all might want to hear from Karsyn and her mom, about how she got started in the industry, and why she chose Pulse Management.  If you want to be a model, it is always beneficial to hear first hand from other models.

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Karsyn for Harper's Bazaar

It would have been enough for us just to see the tear sheets of Karsyn Bartruff's editorial for Harper's Bazaar Sinagapore, but this behind the scenes video is the icing on the cake.  Karsyn looks like a glamorous Hollywood film star from the 30s, and we always like to be able to share behind the scenes footage from shoots.  It is fun to see the finished pictures from an editorial and then see footage showing how they captured those images.  Congrats on your editorial and this video feature Karsyn, they are both major!

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Modeling Rites of Passage

When you are a model there are many milestones that you hopefully encounter throughout your career.  A few of these are signing with an agency, the first time you travel for a job, your first photo shoot, first fashion show, etc.  Three of our models recently experienced some exciting milestones, and we wanted to take a moment to congratulate them.  Natalie Keyser had the experience of seeing her magazine cover for La Costa magazine end up on a billboard.  It must be surreal to see a photograph of yourself blown up that large on the side of the road.

Sophia Skloss also had a milestone, when she saw herself in a magazine editorial while working in Asia.  I don't know if a model ever tires of seeing the finished product of her work in print.  

Lastly, Pulse Management model Karsyn Bartruff's mom was at the airport and she saw her daughter's photo looking up at her on the cover of Elle Magazine.  I can only imagine how exciting that was!

We love seeing these models (and their mom's) dream coming true, and seeing the results from their hard work.  Congrats ladies, we are so proud to be a part of your amazing careers.

Karsyn's on the Move!

You all remember Karsyn don't you?  We wrote about her recently in this Major Moment Monday post.  Well Karsyn has been a busy model, and these are some images from her recent test shoots.  Our partners have been so pleased with how her photos are turning out that now she in headed for New York, Los Angeles and Paris.  Not bad for a girl from North Carolina.  Good Luck Karsyn, and we look forward to seeing your work from each of these cities, because judging from your photos lately, it will all be amazing.

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Karsyn for L'Officiel Magazine

For today's MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY we are thrilled to share with you Karsyn Bartruff's editorial for L'Officiel Magazine.  L'Officiel is a French Fashion magazine, and we love seeing our North Carolina girl grace its pages.  Karsyn has been busy this year so far, especially in Asia, and we have plenty of pictures to share with you of this up and coming model, so stay tuned!

We have models heading out all over the place these days!  Our girl Karsyn Bartruff  (on the right) is headed to NYC, and we can't wait to see everything she accomplishes on her trip.  Don't worry we will keep you posted.  Karsyn is pictured with her friend Allie Evans, a model she knows from LA.  Allie is also a popular fashion vlogger, and she said the following about the above photo, "Mark this tweet people! Next to me is the next big supermodel & I know a lot of models."  We aren't going to argue with you there!  We love our Karsyn, and wish her the best of luck in NYC.
