As a model management company, obviously we love anytime one of our models books an advertising campaign. It is always fun when they book a commercial because we get to see some movement out of our models. Not only do we think this Uniqlo video is a great concept, but we love seeing Pulse model, Olivia Hamilton do a handstand at 11 seconds. Actually it is a pretty effective ad, because now I'm thinking I want to go pick up a pair of these jeans. I'll have to ask Olivia if they are as comfortable as they look. Congrats on a great booking Olivia, we can't wait to see what you do next. Happy Friday everyone, have a great weekend!

Have You Met Ashley?
Over the next few weeks we are going to introduce you to some of our newer models that you may not have seen yet. We love this part of our job. It is always exciting scouting potential models, developing them, and then introducing them to the fashion industry and to the world. This is Ashley Graves from Washington, but we don't think she will be there for long. We have big plans for Ashley, and the first stop we have planned for her is Hollywood. Stay tuned everyone, we think you are going to see some exciting things from this model.

Tear Sheets from Tokyo
We have posted before about when Liz Kennedy was working in Japan, but we just received these tear sheets and we had to share them with you. To share a little backstory with you, we signed Liz about a year ago. We knew that she had amazing potential, but we weren't ready to send her to New York right at the beginning. She is from a small town in Minnesota, and we wanted to make sure she was ready for the crazy New York fashion industry before we sent her out there. So we sent her first to Asia, Tokyo to be specific. In Tokyo, we placed her with an agency that guaranteed her an agreed upon sum of money and also it helped her gain a great deal of experience. With each job that she booked in Tokyo she gained her footing as a model, and gained confidence in herself and her modeling. When she returned to the states both her wallet and her portfolio were richer and she was ready to take on NYC.

A Letter to Potential, Previous, and Current Clients
Shayna and Stacey Eastman
These days with the anonymity the internet provides, we are well aware that there are some negative comments about us online, as there are with most companies. For the past 15 years we have been contacted by companies telling us that if we pay them they will remove any negativity about us online. We were just contacted by one last week, and we refuse to give into that kind of scam. The website Ripoff Report generates its revenue by bullying businesses into paying them to remove complaints about them on their site. At Pulse Management we would rather use our hard-earned profits for other things, and out of principle will not allow ourselves to be bullied into paying a site like Ripoff Report.
We love this article from Entrepreneur's Source that references credible resources like Forbes Magazine, the Huffington Post, and The O'Reilly Factor. The article is all about how to determine the validity of the information you find online, by recognizing the difference between reliable and unreliable sources. Please watch the video in the article to shed some more light on this topic.
The first resource this article recommends for consumers to reference is the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Please click here to see Pulse Management's "A+" rating. (We are not a BBB Accredited business, but we do have the highest rating offered by the BBB. In order to be BBB Accredited you have to pay an annual fee and we do not see the need to do that at this current time.) Pulse Management President, Stacey Eastman, wants all of you to know the following:
"We are aware that there are internet hate sites that talk badly about us. However we do hold a global A+ rating with the BBB with Zero Complaints in over 23 years of global business and no legitimate news, or Legal Action has EVER been about Pulse Mgmt and/or its Owners. That is a pretty amazing record, especially for being an american company within any industry, let alone the entertainment industry which is wrought with scandal."
We encourage all of our potential clients to do their research before deciding to sign with us, we just want to make sure that everyone is considering who their sources of information are when they do so. We also want to share with you this link where we have compiled the messages we have received from our models and their parents over the years. If you are going to listen to anyones testimonials about us, we would like it to be the people that we actually represent and have a working relationship with. If you have further questions about us, we welcome you to ask Stacey personally during your video meetings with him.

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Ali Stephens for Glamour France
Oh Boy! is the title of the editorial that ran in Glamour France in May 2013. Looking through these pictures, Oh Boy! is right. Ali Stephens is looking as incredible as ever in this editorial. We love the styling of these photos, the clothing is obviously inspired by menswear, but there is still a feminine softness to the clothing that make a wonderful juxtaposition. Ali has come a long way in her modeling career since we launched her, and we are so proud of the longevity of her career. Keep up the good work Ali!
