How to Enter:

There are TWO WAYS to enter this online model search, and you only need to choose one of them.  Entries will be accepted from 12:01 am PST on March 10, 2014- 11:59 pm PST on March 16, 2014.

INSTAGRAM: Post a picture of yourself in minimal makeup and full length so we can see your figure (see example below).  Make sure you use the hashtag #pulsemgmtmodelsearch so we can see your photo.  Exact spelling is necessary for your entry.  Also in your photo's comment please include your age and height.

EMAIL: If you do not have instagram, your instagram photos are private, you are not comfortable posting a picture online, or would rather email your photo, please email your photo to scouted@pulsemgmt.com and in the subject line please write, "Pulse Mgmt Model Search".  In the body of your email please include your age and height.

Your photo needs to be an accurate representation of your current physical appearance.  We will be having video calls with our finalists to verify this.  You do not need to be in a swimsuit for your photo, but we do need to be able to see your figure.  Other appropriate clothing options are a skirt and fitted t-shirt, skinny jeans and a tank top, and other items similar.  Pulse Management will only use your photos for this contest, and they will not be used for any other purposes, promotional or otherwise.  If you post your photo publicly on Instagram, we will not have control of other people's access to your photos.  If this concerns you please send your entry to us via our private and secure email. Happy Birthday Olivia!

I guess this is a good week for birthdays!  Today is Olivia Hamilton's 16th birthday, and we are sending all of the happiest birthday wishes her way.  Olivia is beautiful on the inside and out, and she is one of the most poised and remarkable 16 year olds we have had the pleasure of meeting. We loved her smart words in this post.  Happy birthday Olivia, lets make this year your best one yet!

New Liz Kennedy Video

You guys.  We are so proud of this video we made for our girl Liz Kennedy.  Not only does it showcase her flawless beauty, but it also gives you a behind the scenes look into how we launch a model, but why we do it.  As you can tell by our blog, we love our models and we love introducing new models into this crazy fashion world.  We shot this short film shortly before Liz left for her first international contract, a trip to Tokyo for a guaranteed $25,000.  Which is pretty unheard of for a brand new model. We hope you enjoy this video, and that it helps give you more insight into our company and our passion for the modeling industry. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Stacey!

Happiest of birthdays today to our fearless leader, Stacey Eastman.  Without him there would be no Pulse Management, and all of these models, whose careers we post about daily, who knows what they would all be up to.  Stacey is like a big brother to our whole team, and we love and consider him to be family.  We know our models feel the same way.  He is celebrating his birthday in Hawaii with his wife, Shayna, so we know he is having a great birthday! We hope this is a great year for you Stacey!

Michelle McCallum for Grazia Magazine

Pulse Management signed Michelle McCallum when she was 12 years old, and we aren't going to out her age, but we'll just say that she has been enjoying a successful modeling career ever since.  Check out BOTH of these editorials she recently did for Grazia Magazine, one of Italy's leading fashion mags. When we sign a model, we want her to have as long of a career as she is able to, and with Michelle looking like this, it doesn't look like her career is slowing down any time soon!

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Courtney Smerski for Nina Ricci

In honor of Paris Fashion Week, this week's MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY takes us back to 2008 when our girl Courtney Smerski, landed this amazing Nina Ricci advertising campaign.  Nina Ricci is a fashion house created in Paris, and had a resurgence when Olivier Theyskens was at the brand's helm starting in 2006.  Courtney starring in this campaign was huge, and it still remains one of our favorite high fashion advertisements to date.

Matt Chase Places 2nd at the US Revolution Tour!

Pulse Mgmt Action Sports rising star, Matt Chase, killed it in Mammoth Mountain last week.  He competed in the US Revolution Tour and took 2nd place, behind Brandon Davis (the Olympic alternate).  Check out the current tour standings here.  Matt, you stomped those landings, and made it look easy. We can't wait to see what you do next!

Welcome Home Olivia!

Olivia Hamilton returned home this week from her second trip to Tokyo for modeling.  She posted the following on her personal Facebook page:

"I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself! I lived in Tokyo for five weeks alone, navigated the subway system everyday, used maps to walk places, made friends from around the globe, worked a full job while doing school, lived on my own in an apartment, and flew internationally by myself! That's quite the accomplishment for me before the age of sixteen!"

We are proud of you too Olivia! You obviously have the appearance that is needed in the modeling world, but you also have to intelligence and street smarts needed to navigate new countries and cities with aplomb.  

Rachel Cook for Jill Stuart

Pulse Management's Rachel Cook continues her hot streak while in Asia with this Jill Stuart magazine.  The fashion industry can be fickle sometimes, and a girl that works a lot in LA may not be able to book a job in Miami. As a management company it is our responsibility to figure out where our models will be the most successful at any given time and then figure out the right agency to place her with in that market.  Right now Rachel is working like never before in Asia, meaning we did our job right. Everybody wins!

Ali Stephens for Marie Claire

Nothing makes us more proud than seeing one of our superstar's looking absolutely amazing in a MAJOR magazine editorial.  You would think some of the excitement would diminish over seeing Ali in a magazine, but it hasn't.  We are just as excited seeing these pictures as we were when we were first launching Ali years ago.  In the modeling world, career longevity is a rarity, and we are so proud of Ali for the work she is continuing to do.  These photos that ran in Marie Claire are as amazing as any other photos Ali has taken, which goes to show why she is still in such high demand.

Throwback Thursday: Rachel Cook on the COVER of Seattle Bride Magazine

Spring is almost here, meaning season is rapidly approaching!  In honor of the imminent change of seasons, we wanted to post this perfectly pretty cover and editorial Rachel Cook did for Seattle Bride back in 2012.  We love the colors and styling used in this shoot, and we can't imagine a more perfect model for it. (We may be more than a bit biased though) Enjoy the images, we sure did!

The below images are from the Designer Original Magazine.  She looks different in each editorial, but stunning in both, as I'm sure you will all agree!

Liz on Front Page for Marumasu Scarves

Pulse Management rising star, Liz Kennedy, is thriving on her first international trip.  These colorful images are from the advertising campaign she did for Marumasu Scarves.  We love the different looks of Liz in these pictures.  The colors, her expressions, and the hair and makeup combined made some absolutely gorgeous images. You would never know it by looking at these pictures, but Liz is one of our newer models (her very first test shoot was only a few months ago).  We are anxiously looking forward to what she has up next!

Rachel Cook for LG in Korea

Rachel Cook is cleaning up on her trip to Asia!  She shot this commercial for LG, and while we don't know Korean, we can still see how amazing she looks in the commercial. An LG Ad Campaign is a nice addition to Rachel's bank account, and we bet she is smiling all the way to the bank.  We have a lot more to post about Rachel in Asia, so stay tuned!

Daphni Hilton for U+ Magazine

Do you all remember our girl Daphni Hilton? She has been modeling in Hong Kong for a little while, and her absence definitely made our hearts grow fonder. Especially after seeing these pages from an editorial she did for Singapore's U+ Magazine. We love the dichotomy of the innocent look image above with the darker more dramatic image below. We will definitely be seeing more of Daphni in the future, because when she is taking pics like these she is going to be booking up fast.

Carson on the Cover of Pink Revista Magazine

Do you guys remember this post, with the behind the scenes video of Carson Bruner's cover shoot for Pink Revista Magazine?  Well, the magazine is in, and we are loving seeing Carson smoldering at us from the COVER.  We have a feeling this is not the last time we will be seeing Carson on the cover of a Magazine.  Maybe she will be our 20th cover of Vogue?
