Ali's Working for the Good of the World's H2O
"Before she was discovered and catapulted to major model status, Ali Stephens had big dreams to become a marine biologist. But just because she struts the runways and appears on the cover of magazine doesn’t mean that her love for the ocean and its creatures has diminished.
She’s teamed up with Oceana in order to bring awareness to the importance of protecting the world’s oceans. And as part of her position in the organization, she helped organize an event tomorrow, June 8th at the Fairmount Skatepark in her hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah. You see, even though she’s not from a coastal city, Ali equates the movement of skating with the feeling of surfing, hence the skatepark event to raise funds for the ocean and its creatures. Along with an afternoon of half-pipes and skate tricks, there will be limited edition t-shirts for sale which Ali helped to design with Danny Roberts, and of course, all the proceeds will go to help Oceana.
