Nichole Martinez in WWD!

Nichole Martinez was recently featured in this article in WWD as part of their recurring Model Call column. WWD uses this column to showcase some up and coming models and we are thrilled that Nichole was one of them.  We discovered Nichole in her home state of Colorado, and now she is making a name for herself in the New York fashion industry.  

We are cracking up at her saying that she originally thought the attention for getting scouted was "creepy", but we are glad that she decided to pursue modeling anyway!  She also talks about reasons why she or her parents thought she shouldn't start modeling, but her desire to try it outweighed them.  There will always be reasons why you shouldn't do something, but sometimes you just have to follow your dreams, no matter how intimidating or unobtainable they may seem.  Nothing ventured is nothing gained, and we are so glad we were able to help Nichole enter the modeling world.

Liz Kennedy for French Elle

I guess all it took to get some attitude from our sweet midwesterner, Liz Kennedy, was an editorial in French Elle!  We can't believe the sweet teen we discovered at a concert in Minnesota is the same person as this fierce model pictured. Actually we knew she had the potential to be this amazing on film, which is why we signed and developed her as a model, but these pictures are even exceeding our high expectations.  We will probably be pouring over these pics all day, that's how much we love them.

BIG NEWS for Armon Eastman

Happy Wednesday everyone.  We have some big news.  Actually we have some HUGE news for you all regarding our model, Armon Eastman.  He just booked a job with a major designer.  In fact the designer is so major we have been sworn to secrecy until the images are released.  So really we can't share the news with you today, but we are so excited, we just had to tell you all that we have something gigantic in the works for Armon, and we will share it with you the nano-second we are able to.  We promise. In the meantime, you can enjoy the above photo of handsome Armon.

Olivia + Ansel for Teen Vogue

Yesterday we posted the behind the scenes video from Olivia Hamilton's Teen Vogue shoot with Ansel Elgort.  While looking on the Teen Vogue site we saw this picture from the shoot, and we LOVE it.  The lighting is gorgeous on Olivia, and she looks as beautiful as ever.  There is a teaser for the article and editorial HERE.  The rest of the pics will be available in the latest issue of Teen Vogue out on March 24, and we can't wait!

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Olivia Hamilton and Ansel Elgort for Teen Vogue

We have been DYING to share with you all that our model, Olivia Hamilton, did a Teen Vogue editorial with Ansel Elgort.  Ansel, made famous by his roles in The Fault in Our Stars and Divergent, and Olivia's photo shoot was chronicled by the above video.  It is always fun to see behind the scenes at a photo shoot, especially when one of our models is with one of Hollywood's rapidly rising stars.  We'll share all of the editorial pictures with you when the April issue of Teen Vogue hits the stands!  In the meantime, I hope this is enough to hold you over until then.

Kristina Jordan for Tinsel Tokyo

We have been so busy with our fashion week posts, that we haven't yet posted this stunning editorial of Kristina Jordan.  Kristina did her test shoot with Dolls Model Management with fashion photographer Rodney Ray.  Rodney loved working with her so much, that he booked her for this editorial for Tinsel Tokyo Magazine.  We have now had a few of our newer models in editorials in Tinsel Tokyo, and we love seeing how each one of them turns out.  You can preview the whole issue of the magazine here.

Model Milestone for Olivia

Major congratulations are in order for our model, Olivia Hamilton! She now has a profile on Models.com, which will chronicle her modeling career and it basically says she is a legitimate model in the high fashion world.  Models.com only has profiles for models working the highest level of fashion jobs, so when you get a profile on the site it is a huge validation for a model that her career is on the right trajectory.  We are proud of you Olivia, you have come a long way since we scouted you at Costco!

NYFW: Alisha Judge for J. Crew and Kempner

We have to say that a handful of our models made this past fashion week season one of the very best in Pulse Management history.  I am pleased as punch to still be updating all of you with our models' bookings for the various shows and presentations, because it just shows you how much they worked.  It is almost deceiving when you are looking at these pictures to start thinking that booking one of these shows is a regular occurrence, but it is not.  These stages are at the very top tier of the fashion world and only a small portion of models will ever book a show for New York, London, Milan or Paris fashion week.  We just happen to have developed some incredible models, who are experiencing some successes that most models only dream of.

Alisha Judge booked quite a few shows/presentations during NYFW.  The above picture is her look from  J. Crew's Fall 2015 Ready to Wear Presentation.  Below are pictures from the Kempner F/W 2015 Presentation.  If you haven't heard of the designer Meggie Kempner yet, you will know her name soon.  She was named one of the 10 Rising Star Designers to Know by StyleCaster after her Fashion Week presentation. 

MFW: Olivia for Ter et Bantine

We are looking at photos from Milan Fashion Week, and we keep coming back to this beauty of Olivia Hamilton in the Ter et Bantine Show.  This show was a big one at Milan Fashion Week because it was the first time designer Kostas Murkudis was at the helm of the brand.  Murkudis has worked with Balenciaga, Helmut Lang, and Pringle, but this was his debut being at the head of the label, and the show and collection were amazing. This dress that our Olivia wore down the runway, looks almost fluid-like on her beautiful ballerina frame.  We love seeing our models on the runway, especially when they are as highly anticipated as this one.

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Liz and Sophia Living the Dream!

Hopefully you all saw our posts about Liz Kennedy walking the Dolce and Gabbana runway, and Sophia Skloss in the Burberry show?  Not only are these models walking the biggest runways in the world wearing the designers' latest lines, they are also getting gifts from the designers.  Liz Kennedy's Dolce and Gabbana handbag is sure to be the envy of everyone who sees it!  Sophia Skloss was not only cast exclusively for Burberry's London Fashion week show, they gifted her a scarf with her initials embroidered on it.  Keep in mind these are regular teenage girls we scouted in their hometowns, and now they are walking for and wearing the latest designers from around the world!

Yesterday we celebrated the birthday of Pulse Management President, Stacey Eastman, and today we celebrate the birthday of TWO of our favorite people (and models).  Happy birthday to Olivia Hamilton and to Bree Hannemann.

Olivia just returned home from Europe, where she was walking the runways for fashion week.  Bree is celebrating her birthday in her home state of Hawaii where she models, scouts and is killing it with her photography.  Both of these models are truly beautiful inside and out and we are consider ourselves blessed to know and work with them.

Happy Birthday Stacey!

We can't let another minute go by without wish a very happy birthday to Stacey Eastman.  Stacey is the President of Pulse Management, and a friend to everyone he meets.  All of our models look to him for guidance not only in their careers but in their lives as well.  There is no one as passionate, adventurous, and exciting to be around as Stacey is, and we are all so lucky to know and work with him.  He is an exemplary father, friend, mentor, manager, and thrill seeker.  We hope you have a fantastic day Stace, and that your amazing family spoils you!

"Viva la Mamma"

A lot has been said about the F/W 2015 Dolce and Gabbana show.  We wrote THIS post about it a few days ago.  While Dolce and Gabbana has received some negative press about the show, we are still both appreciative and celebrating the designers ode to motherhood.  Not only did they send models with their children (clad in Dolce and Gabbana, naturally), they also had Italian supermodel Bianca Balti walk the runway while she was six months pregnant.  Bianca looked as beautiful and radiant as ever, and we are so glad that Dolce and Gabbana cast her in the show.

Pulse Management President, Stacey Eastman, said the following about the show:

"Pulse Mgmt applauds this ode to women, for the girls, the female, mommies, and especially my own WIFE Shayna Jones Eastman, for my own mom Sharry Eastman and my precious daughters Lily and Vienna Eastman. Lastly to the many moms and precious daughters whom I call clients. Without all of you the world would cease to exist! In many ways would not be worth living if it were not for women, mothers, the female, lil girls who grow up to be women/mommies are quite literally humanities future. We appreciate all of the women that we work with and that are in our families.  It is refreshing to see them celebrated in the fashion world.

MFW: Olivia for Hogan

Olivia Hamilton is exceeding all expectations we had for her debut fashion week.  She conquered New York, London, and now she is making us proud in Milan.  These pictures are from the Hogan Women's Fall/Winter 2015 Presentation.  We especially love the backstage selfie!  Olivia, you look amazing (as usual), and you are representing Pulse so well. We can't wait to see what she books next.

MAJOR MOMENT MONDAY: Liz for Dolce and Gabbana

The entire fashion world is talking about Dolce and Gabbana's ode to motherhood at their Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear fashion show in Milan.  The designers were not only inspired by motherhood, in the finale they had some of their models who are mothers walk the runways with their offspring in tow.  It was truly a beautiful and unprecedented moment in fashion history.  Our very own Liz Kennedy walked the Dolce and Gabbana runway, and we are proud of her not only for booking such a major designer's show during Milan Fashion Week, but for being a part of a show that embraced such an amazing part of womanhood. If you could see me writing this, you would also see me giving this show a standing ovation from our living room.

NYFW: Alisha Judge for Opening Ceremony

Opening Ceremony's NYFW presentation was one of the most anxiously anticipated events of the entire week.  The clothes were shown alongside some never before seen photos by Spike Jonze, which combined the art and fashion scenes seamlessly.  Pulse Management model, Alisha Judge, was one of the models cast in the presentation and she is rocking those orange boots! The past few fashion weeks Alisha Judge has been one of our models who has worked the most consistently, and her hard work is paying off.

Happy Birthday Ashland!

Happy (belated) birthday to Ashland Wendlandt!  Ashland is one of our new faces, and we have quickly come to love this model.  Check out these videos and posts and you'll see why.  Ashland has all the potential in the world and we are excited to manage and develop her career.  Next stop for this blonde beauty is a contract in Tokyo, and we can't wait to see the pictures from her work in Japan!
